Welcome wagon one hit wonders

For some reason today I caught myself perusing the welcome wagon and I notice how many ladies post 1 time, never to be heard from again. I guess I was just curious as to that phenomenon. (Not really a phenomenon, I just like that word a lot). Does the first guy that call them creep/ freak them out so bad they retire? LE? Not really realizing what this site was all about? I was just curious. That is all, carry on.

I'd really like the ladies perspective on this subject.

My hypothesis (I just like the word too) is that the quantity of one-time posters on eccie, is probably consistent with the quantity of girls/women that try the prostitution business and quit within, say a six month period. Or maybe a certain quantity of clients.

Now this mathematical relationship may be more exponential or geometric one, so don't let that disprove the hypothesis (damn, that word again).

If the ladies that did the one and done posts were around, maybe they would tell you, but I do not believe you are going to get a provider who posted in the WW and quit posting to reply to this thread. Any other provider could do no more than guess just as a hobbyist would, txman123.

My guess would be the WW trolls who ask for more time and services free of charge because they have an account/are a verified reviewer here and/or want a deep discounted session for a romance novel review, perhaps giving the WW girls examples of said reviews, would be a contributing factor as well as yours.

I know of one who did last month. The girl who got her onto ECCIE called me pissed about it. I'd love to hear the convo with their children when they tell the story how they met.

As for the 1 hit Wonders. many are more than 1 hit/post. Each day I have to remove Ads/threads form the Welcome Wagon from the BP girls who have come onto ECCIE who can't seem to read my instructions on how to become verified and insist on posting thru the day or each day as if this is BP. Then again it may be their pimp.

A few of them will bitch & moan that ECCIE is too hard and disappear.

I just assume a lot of them aren't trying to make a career off of this and need to pay some interim bills. Once they get what they need, they disappear. But, then again, some hookers get hooked on hooking and remain in the game as long as the clock allows because of the fast money.

I do know of at one young lady who has 1 post on here in WW and is still around UTR. She has issues w/her ID and can't become verified. She still gets reviewed occasionally.
There are most likely others who come in and are overwhelmed as FOM or have some bad experiences w/the Trolls of WW. They may get a few regulars and just go w/that as they have RW jobs and aren't looking for "full time".

BTW...good to hear from you icansmile. Guess you have been busy lately tying up loose ends.

The pressures of some hobbyists that are opportunists and try to take advantage of her for a stupid review and verification before she is even noticed by the nicer gentleman on this board.

The pressures of some providers that don't want to help her succeed but will try to tell her what the going rates are or she will crash-n-burn.

Lack of an ID, Lack of a car, Lack of reading the forum rules.
No one will help her. Lurking Pimps, Lurking LE.
Few make it through this Gauntlet.

The few that do, still have to deal with the shit that goes on behind the scenes and who protects them. (They will be surprised)

Aside from the many pimps and managers out there, unfortunately, imo, too many of the females entering the hobby do so because they are ill-equipped to work in most RW jobs.

Which may also be why they are ill-equipped to run the "gauntlet" and learn to operate on the board and also to operate successfully in the hobby.

I agree ck1942, you are a smart man sir and i have a lot of respect for you since ASPD days. New providers don't think about slow days and phone not ringing for weeks or months and how they are going to survive that time frame. Just like they don't think about Insurance, dental, taxes. RW jobs fix's all that but, it's hard for a 20-30 year old to make 200-400/hr and have to resort to 10-15/hr during slow times. same goes for saving for a rainy day or when they are planning to exit the hobby with a little cash in their pocket. Hell, some seasoned providers don't think about that either. It's sad to think these beautiful ladies work to please us for years and exit the hobby broke and with prostitution on their record. I know a few ladies that are trying to fix the RW situation by going to school, getting a trade and training while providing.

Think about all this ladies.

I would think a lot of the younger ones drop out when they realize what it takes to be successful as a provider. It's obvious from some of their first posts, the limited activities and optimistic donation structure, that they are not long for the Hobby.

I'm not going to dig through archives, but my guess is that summer also brings about one hit wonders from the younger provider wannabe that has free time and a lack of school with some expenses they need to cover to tide them through until student loans roll back in. Thinking it is easy money, and that they 'like sex' so they should like this leads to some rather unrealistic expectations. I dunno. I usually stay away from the welcome wagon since I am too lazy to put up with all the back and forth that seems to come with it.

A bit more annoying are the ww threads that are ripped from backpage. That's endemic more than someone dipping their toe in the water and deciding this isn't for them after all. I mean, I don't fault a newer provider for having set boundaries or what their price point for services are - I'm all for free market capitalism.

Yeah, David, I didn't expect much of a response from the actual posters, but I have to disagree with your theory that "Any other provider could do no more than guess just as a hobbyist would." I believe that providers have a unique perspective that you and I can never share and they all were new here at one time and faced the same thing. Their take on the subject would be interesting.
However, the lack of response from those ladies is deafening.

Being somewhat new here, I don't understand why a provider would need or want a pimp nowadays. If they are independent and utilize sites like this correctly, what are the positives of having a pimp? Solely for security purposes?
