I just needed to vent. I spend a ridiculous amount of time researching a girl before taking the dive. Setup today's misadventure about 2 1/2 hours ahead of time. Arrived 15 minutes early and waited 10 before placing 2nd call to say I was in the neighborhood. No answer; mailbox full. Placed 3 calls in the span of 5 minutes and ended up in full mailbox. Decided to space out calls 5 minutes apart. After 20 minutes she picks up and says she has to go to the airport and pick up a friend. This was a well reviewed provider and I was really looking forward to the dream. As this is the 1st time I think she stood someone up (that I'm aware of) I'm not mentioning names, so this is basically a worthless rant. I don't know that I feel any better. Perhaps a rousing chorus of the Blue Balls Blues.

Hey kcpumper...first off, what's ur secret if this is the first time in 12 years.

I totally understand ur need to vent, so I don't want to push, but perhaps naming the provider may help others????

Hope the Blue Balls ballad has a happy ending

My secret? I'm sure dumb luck has 99% to do with it. Careful research and sticking with high performing, reliable providers helps. I'm pretty damn picky and value my time spent dreaming much more than the $$. It's so difficult to get away I try to plan as carefully as possible. Using the big head helps but probably keeps me from experiencing some of the other talent available.

Hey, if ya got a forumla that works, why fix something that ain't broken.

And I agree, value my time much more than $$'s side.

But everyone has their own style and budget

I think it is usually best to wait at least 24, preferably 48 hours to say anything. While I understand your frustration, you don't really know if there were other factors involved. Hopefully she will contact you if she has not already.

It sucks that happens sometimes. A provider should definitely give a guy more notice she can't make it, especially when it was only 2 1/2 hours before.

It's bullshit. Post her name for all the world to see. It's the only way to get these girls from double booking or dropping an appointment become something better came along.

Sorry this happened to you.. It sucks and not the fun way. There's 2 excuses in my book, in jail or hospital. With cell phones, text, internet there is no reason for ncns. Just Rude!

Just wanted to let you all know; the provider contacted me through a pm here and apologized. She's the class act I thought she was. I plan on seeing her soon.

Or she saw your post, knew it was about her and decided to make everything good so her name isn't "tarnished."
