I'll admit. When it come to seeing these ladies I've gotten to be VERY easily spooked here lately.

Some of the things that have me stop seeing a lady simply because it gives me the heebie-jeebies;
*Initial contact with one lady but having another lady I've never seen screen me. Set-up?
*Sudden changes in a lady's way of doing business. Email changes, phone # changes, change in a long-time location. Ask myself "why"? Who she avoiding?
*Sudden changes in services previously offered. Once again..."why"?
*Changes in on-line persona. Not these forums, but in emails and or IMs. If she suddenly disappears and then returns. Or just the way she communicates changes..."why"? Is it someone else posing as her now?
*Anytime a lady goes UTR due to being "outed". Is it possible a family member or her SO will show up at our next "UTR" appointment?

I'll admit. These things never spooked me as bad in the past. But the risk of worst-case scenarios vs. just getting a little strange seems to be weighing on my mind more and more now days. Am I just getting jumpier in ma old age?

Sounds like age. If you're a senior, I can understand. I have relatives that have gotten more paranoid about bad things happening to them and the world as they get older. They look for things to be worried about.

Not with AARP yet. Just seems like more and more of these women aren't worth even the smaller risks.

Always trust your gut! No matter what! whenever your stray or try to convince yourself otherwise things might go wrong.. then you will be kicking yourself for not listening to the red flags! lol

Quite possibly age related....
But could it be from lack of patience? Those of us who've hobbied for a whole know what we like, what we'll put up with, or what out limit is on the BS meter.

I'd hate to admit age is a factor....lol....could possibly be one of the reasons I hobby.

Gotta admit, I don't tolerate the games and drama as well as some others. But that's nothing new for me.

The ones in bold have spooked me away recently. And yes it could be age but I figure its always better to safe than sorry.

That's how guys get way to involved in a provider's personal business. I have a friend that's changed her number 3 times in the last two years. I know lots of people that have changed their numbers for various reasons. It happens. Also, people move. Especially escorts. That's not weird. There's a point where those questions and thoughts become paranoia.

I have a senior relative that was convinced his phone was tapped because hear could he a clicking noise. The issue was caused by wireless interference from his router. After I fixed the issue and explained the problem, he is now convinced that his Internet is being monitored and his line is still tapped.

Paranoia and fear is a good thing, makes us think twice.

This hobby is much more personal than we think it is. We are not seeing each other for the sake of business. We are letting each other into our personal lives.

It may seem like a business transaction, but at the end of the day, you or the provider have crossed personal lines that would not be regularly crossed in real life (unless you was a slut).

These guys are talking about being spooked because a provider changes their email address, incall, or phone number. I've seen a lot of providers that have done this. Random thugs didn't pop-up of nowhere to beat and rob me. Police didn't show up to arrest me. It's irrational fear.

The only other option is going to providers that never change their personal info or circumstances, or see providers that have never retired and then come back.

Hercules is like me. He hasn't changed his identity at a moments notice. Guys with longstanding identities tend to exhibit a little more paranoia.

Not saying that is good or bad, just explaining the rationale.

The same things spook me too Hercules. I'm sure I have missed out on meeting a few wonderful ladies, but I have not had any drama with the ladies I've met.

Another to add to the list is:
No evidence of screening me.
I've sent requests either pre-screen or appointment and have been all cleared but no evidence she has read my profile. Could be she simply looks at number of okays and decides its good enough, but that does not make me at all comfortable. If she at reads my profile, I feel a whole lot better.
