US Drones Kill Anti-al Qaeda Leader
Yes, our government killed an outspoken opponent of al Qaeda. A good guy. Along with members of his family.
This is insane.
Late last August, a 40-year-old cleric named Salem Ahmed bin Ali Jaber stood up to deliver a speech denouncing Al Qaeda in a village mosque in far eastern Yemen.
It was a brave gesture by a father of seven who commanded great respect in the community, and it did not go unnoticed. Two days later, three members of Al Qaeda came to the mosque in the tiny village of Khashamir after 9 p.m., saying they merely wanted to talk. Mr. Jaber agreed to meet them, bringing his cousin Waleed Abdullah, a police officer, for protection.
As the five men stood arguing by a cluster of palm trees, a volley of remotely operated American missiles shot down from the night sky and incinerated them all, along with a camel that was tied up nearby.

The loons in ALF and PETA treat animals as if their life was equal in value with humans. This doesn't raise the value of non-human life; it lowers the value of human life. When I read some of the posts on this board, I wonder if PETA isn't right. Nah, some of these poster don't even rise to the value of most animals.

COG has a bleeding heart- did you condemn the Afgahn soldiers who killed the U.S soldiers numerous times in the summer. You know the Afghan soldiers killed Americans who were fighting the Taliban- you know the same Taliban that has killed Afghan soldiers numerous times? COG do you really expect us to believe that you give a rat's ass? Why don't you look at how many Taliban operatives/Al-Queada scum that the Obama Administration killed/captured in Obama's 1st 3 years and compare it to the number Bush killed/captured in his 8 years and come back with the numbers- it's nearly double in favor of Obama.
