Suggestion that Hollywood do some diversity hires

Of the 7,000 voting Academy members only less than 5% are black or hispanic so what does a business get forced to do to appease government standards??? Why they are forced to hire unqualified, unneeded workers called diversity hires in order to not run afoul of the law. So in the next three years the Academy should bring on board (how? I don't care?) about 2,000 more people of color even if they have to hire fresh out of college students and two thirds of them must be female to set sexual preferences hiring standards. So that is what it will take to bring Hollywood up to modern, government standards.

Don't worry Hollywood, you don't have to play them, you just have to hire them.

There is some kind of irony here since the Academy president is black.

The crux of the issue is valid. While I'm not really outraged when someone doesn't hire an under qualified minority if they don't have to (since it is counter-intuitive and flies in the face of economic self interest) when the very people who tirelessly preach the merits of multiculturalism do not practice it, you liberals should feel hoodwinked.

It is like Shlomo telling you he only deals with the finest diamonds in town and talks bad about zirconia and its manufacturers, then finding out he is a silent partner in another store that sells fakes. He is a fraud.

Auto builders build vehicles that people want and will buy. Movie studios make movies people will go see. Maybe the movie going public won't go see a black star anymore. You have said everyone is racist.
