Phone # search results - multiple providers

Maybe a naive question, but when searching on a phone # and it leads to more than one provider, are we to assume that a pimp is involved?

It means do more research. Could mean a number of things. Research the other providers the number links to as well for a better picture

Another possibility is that the numbers are simply passed around after a short stay as a burn phone. There's only so many number combinations to use in the phone system. Throw in the fact that many don't keep phones turned on long, and combine it with area code loyalty in a densely populated area, and you get numbers that are repeated. The tech guys for the phone companies may even be aware of her possibly needing a burn phone and have decided to keep 'select' numbers assigned to a particular type of people (i.e. 19-24 year old with a big rack, phat ass, and no visible means of an income clearly fits into the stripper/young hooker category...yeah, give her one of those numbers, wink-wink), and there you are.
