Default Hammerin' Hank Tells It Like It Is

This'll blow up the skirts of the resident knuckleheads.....

Baseball Great Hank Aaron: Obama's GOP Critics Are Like The KKK

AP Photo / David Goldman

Tom Kludt – April 9, 2014, 12:53 PM EDT | 6174

Baseball legend Hank Aaron doesn't think President Obama's political rivals are that much different than the racists who threatened Aaron with death as he approached Babe Ruth's home run milestone.

Aaron told USA Today in an interview published Tuesday that he still has the hateful letters he received as he closed in on Ruth's career home run record 40 years ago this week. He said he keeps them as a reminder "that we are not that far removed from when I was chasing the record."

"If you think that, you are fooling yourself," he said. "A lot of things have happened in this country, but we have so far to go. There's not a whole lot that has changed."
According to Aaron, things are not that much different today — the country's first black president notwithstanding.

"We can talk about baseball. Talk about politics. Sure, this country has a black president, but when you look at a black president, President Obama is left with his foot stuck in the mud from all of the Republicans with the way he's treated," Aaron said.
He added, "We have moved in the right direction, and there have been improvements, but we still have a long ways to go in the country. The bigger difference is that back then they had hoods. Now they have neckties and starched shirts."

Sounds like there's a starched shirt and necktie in your closet.

Look, I like Aaron, BUT...

Are Republicans NOT supposed to oppose Obama AT ALL, because to do so makes them de facto racists? No matter what their motivation?

Who gets to make THAT call? Bill Maher?

So, if someone thinks the Affordable Care Act is a cock-up and Obama lied about keeping doctors in order to get it passed, he or she is assumed to be a KKK member?

If you oppose Obama on budget issues, you are a racist? is that all Paul Ryan has to do to be a KKK member?

Same thin for criticizing his actions/inactions on Ukraine?

Hank also said there are not enough black baseball players in the MLB yet nothing is being said about that statement. If Larry Bird said there are not enough white players in the NBA he would be labeled a racist and a member of the KKK. So I wouldn't take much of what Hank has to say.

The Babe had a superior AB to home run ratio. He so wiped out his competition he was left with no one to chase. Had he known Aaron would come along and have an extra four thousand at bats to beat him he might have quit eating hot dogs, drinking beer, and chasing women long enough to beat him. Then he would have gone back to hot dogs, beer, and women!!

It is a shame that a great baseball player like Hank has become so senile.

Meanwhile, the left continues to idolize people like Margaret Sanger (founder of planned parenthood).

One of her "better" quotes: "We do not want word to go out that we want to exterminate the Negro population," she said, "if it ever occurs to any of their more rebellious members."

Does Mrs. Clinton, winner of the 2009 Sanger award, agree with that view?

Looks like Hammerin Hank needs to add pantsuits to his list of attire.
