If the Spirit Airlines assholes would treat their customers better, like Southwest does (disclosure - I'm a longtime stockholder), then shit like this wouldn't happen to them.
I've had lots of flights cancelled and I felt the same frustrations as these ladies, but when it happens on Southwest Airlines they aren't dickheads about it and they give you usable vouchers, usually good for another flight up to $150 dollars.
Spirit's agents likely basically just say fuck you flights cancelled and fuck off, though I'm only speculating and they could be the nicest people in the world but I doubt it.
Also, I like the black dress slit all the way up the side to her waist - my kind of girl!
I had a similar experience - the only time I ever flew spirit - flight cancelled - and about midnight a lady with two screaming toddlers lost it at the desk personnel.

I must agree with all of you on this. I made the mistake of flying on Spirit one time. I have never been nickeled and dimed so much in my life. The staff was even making jokes during their pre-flight about how lousy their service is.
After we landed the staff was fighting with passengers trying to unload their carry on bags before we arrived at the gate and then the passengers fought with each other trying to push and shove their way off the plane faster.
Never again.

The spirit of the employees of Southwest Airlines is indeed exellent.
Spirit Airlines needs to implement things that Southwest does but Southwest looks at character and not skin color of a person - something MLK wanted for America.
