Retired pediatric neurosurgeon Dr. Ben Carson said Thursday that Americans are "being played by those people who want to divide, conquer and control."

"The trend you can see in our society is if you are pro-life, then you're anti-woman," Carson said at a town hall meeting entitled "Religion in America," sponsored by local news station CBS12 in West Palm Beach, Fla. "If you're pro-traditional marriage, then you're homophobic. If you're a white person — and you say something against a progressive black person, you’re a racist.

Most vocal opponents of ACA are anesthesiologists and radiologists, overpaid mechanics who NEVER meet their patients. The docs who take care of families and people generally favor ACA. I've met all of mine when I've had my surgeries for all my sports injuries from beating up assholes at Love Field.

Well I might have been out of line with the "REAL DOCTORS" statement, but I'm not going to acknowledge that a neurosurgeon is the same as an internist, pediatrician, gynecologist or family doc. Those are REAL doctors. Folks who help you stay healthy. IMHO, REAL doctors take care of people, not mechanical repairs. Super subs, like surgeons and the surgical team, are mechanics. My point is that they are WAY too overpaid in this system. In the rest of the world, super subspecialists are employed by the hospitals. They're well paid, to be sure, but they're not the center point of any health care model. If you're being taken care of by a primary care doc (and yourself) you RARELY have to see someone like that. The health care system rarely has to absorb hundreds of thousands of dollars because you would lay off the fucking chicken fried steaks and had a stroke. The hospitals don't get to bill your insurance company (US!) thousands of dollars so they can wipe your ass with a $50 roll of toilet paper.

And how often do you go see your anesthesiologist? Do you call your radiologist when you feel a bit off? Please. They don't know your fucking name, let alone remember why they saw you. Your anesthesiologist walked in, shot some shit into your IV and you went down. Right? Or did he show you how to avoid having to come see him again?

Can you tell the difference? I doubt it. Just being contrary, I suspect.
