My own awkwardness and nervousness ruining my own mood

A bit new to this hobby but just wondering how y’all over come that mental block and just enjoy the moment, I find the “enjoying” part difficult since I tend to get nervous a bit, also how much small talk if any do y’all do? Or just go straight to business?

I always small talk at first and make sure the person is comfortable. A few drinks help as well.

...get a regular or two...build familiarity...and your confidence will increase with practice over time...then add to your "regulars list"...until you have the confidence to enter the "one-and-done" game.

I agree with DFW, pick a girl and make her a regular. See her for a while until you're comfortable and able to enjoy it. It takes a while to get used to the non traditional stuff we do.
