I don't understand this

I don't understand. I am a newbie to the scene. Somebody explain this:

I made an appointment with a provider for a 1/2 hour lunch date with no desert, $100. I just wanted her to sit acrossed from me and look pretty. She says ok. The day of the appointment she doesn't respond to any texting, after previously telling me to text. No problem. I understand. I call 30 minutes before the oppointment to verify. She says, is it ok to delay the appointment a little. She's in E. Dallas, I'm in N. Dallas. I say ok no problem. Then she wants to know again if it's just lunch. I say yes. She says thats too far to drive (20 miles maybe, my estimate) just for lunch, would 50 more be ok? I say ok but could we than make the time together more than 1/2 hour so as not to rush lunch? She gets huffy with a, I'll call you back routine.

I don't understand. Apparently an hour of greek for 300 is preferable to 30 minutes at 150 of just sitting across the table from some joker and looking pretty -- with the possiblity of relieving him of money in the future.

Someone with experience clue me in.

Sounds like to me, maybe you called the wrong lady. Sounds very unprofessional to me, don't worry about her and move on. Dallas is filled with beautiful women that will have lunch with you for $100. If she gives me attitude it will be nothing but downhill from there so i let her go, just me. hOpe it gets better for ya.

I would second Outdoorsman, zee. Some ladies feel like they're being set up when you don't want anything from them. I'm curious, did you go through screening? Just lunch or whatever, a lady worth her salt is going to screen you.

Scratch her off your list and find someone else you would like to meet. There are lots of terrific options.

She simply got a better offer elsewhere, Zee-Man. Looks like she was trying to figure out how to get both the better offer and still get your $100 (and a free lunch). That's the difference between this hobby world and the real world. In the real world work, when you or I makes a commitment to be somewhere at a certain time for a certain job, usually we will be there. In the hobby world, it doesn't always work that way.

No I think you understand quite well. $300 IS preferable to $150 in the pocket, which is the bottom line. The future earnings potential you may offer for them is a foreign concept to too many ladies, sadly.

Your choice of companion makes a huge difference on your results. That's the reason for this website and the reviews, ads and discussions contained within it. To help you make that choice with as much information as possible....you just have to go look for it.

I know, although my rates are all inclusive, who would pass up on a nice meal with pleasant company, so freaking easy. I'm not sure how big Dallas is but it doesn't seem like you would have been going too far out of her way especially if you guys planned this in advance.

Maybe she thought you were a time -waster. No one has said that. Maybe she thought her next appt was worth way more than lunch, and a few 20's. Was she from here or backpage.

Either way, she could have politely told you to find someone else, verse wasting your time. On a side, note, not too many guys offer a free lunch and $100 dollars. Usually its just the offer of a free lunch. Lol.


Better luck next time and do some research on ladies who offer coffee or lunch only dates. They exist out there.

Bottom line, she wasn't worth the time you invested in her. If you were attracted by her pics, they wee probably 10 years old anyway. You need to run, not walk away from her.

There are plenty of Dallas ladies that will treat you right. If all you want is lunch with a hottie, post that in the ISO thread and ask for volunteers to PM you their interest along with a showcase link or be willing to email you current pics.

Then, pick the one you want to see.
