NRA President comes out with reasonable solutions and gets heckled by modern Nazis
Wayne La Pierre had a press conference today where hecklers apparently didn't want to listen to an adult talk about added security, new laws about mental health, and other ways to protect students. The modern Nazis didn't want to listen. They tried to shout him down and even CNN cut away from the press conference when he tried to make his point. So who is playing politics? Who wants to protect students? What wants to ban guns (starting with the so-called assault rifles)? The modern Nazis.

It's great to know in Barleyworld, 2 people in america using their 1st amendment right to speak out against the idea's being presented by the NRA are "modern nazis". Hmmmmm, does anyone else with 1/4 of a brain see the irony and flawed logic in this?

The NRA does make a proposal that will work. And can be implemented in a matter of weeks. A trained, Certified, and Commisioned Police Officer in Every School.
Not some damned rent a cop, or old retired military guy, but a real live Police Officer who has the training, and authority, to use deadly force to stop deadly force.
I do not see a downside to this. Police are here to protect us, and who needs more protection than our kids in schools?

I hope the 4 million NRA members are willing to pay increased dues to pay for the additional cost so they can keep their right to bear arms.

Naw, maaaaa-yunnnnn, those pinheads think that parents will just be willing to pay up and each school can implement a "safety" fee. Works great in the white, affluent 'burbs, not so much in da 'hood. I assume that the Teawipes think every kid who goes to school in da 'hood is already packin' so they've got it covered, right? I'll go those dumb fu*ks one better, they won't even have to do anything in the rural areas because everyone knows that the people who live out there are "real" Americans:
The first lilnk is a partial list of school shooting from 1995-2005:

That, sadly, is the big problem. Conservatives are really much more like liberals than they want to admit--they too have a list of "I Want"s and ignore how to pay for it. The only real difference is what each has on their shopping list.
