Nope, you can't make this stuff up. The ice age predicted in the 1970s is back and it is not going to happen. Rush Limbaugh predicted this three years ago. Since "global warming" wasn't happening he said that they should declare victory for stopping the warming, take the credit and move on.

Just days before the US was going to relax the sanctions on Iran, the Iranian Revolutionary Guard took 10 sailors hostage in the middle of the Persian Gulf. Iran then violated the Geneva Convention by filming their prisoners and forcing an apology (real big deal in Middle Eastern countries). They let them go but Iran accomplished their goal of looking like the big man who stood up to (successfully) the big Satan. Somehow, this has not damped the ardor of Obama to reward the bad behavior of Iran. I guess we could say that Iran is too bad to fail.

The White House coopted a number of willing Hollywood celebrities to advance their anti-civil rights (anti-gun) agenda. Many of the celebrities were more than happy to become pawns in the Oval Office propaganda machine which was paid for with taxpayer money.

The $1.5 billion Powerball prize was won by three people in California, Tennessee, and Florida. I wonder if the California winner is going to be pissed because the Florida check is going to be about $40 million larger than his (or her's). Florida has no state income tax. I know, some people will whine about it's only $40 million, get over it.
Severaus Snapes has died for the second time. Alan Rickman has died at the age of 69. Who can imagine Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy without the voice of the depressed robot Marvin (voiced by Rickman). Or that dry delivery in Galaxy Quest. Rickman, Bowie, Cole, and Stigwood. 2016 is off to a rough start.
