Change your diet and TONS of cardio! Cut carbs out your diet (not completely though but where you can). Some guys in my boxing gym cut carbs after noon, it works for them but has some minor drawbacks. Btw you might be interested in boxing, its tons cardio workout and fun.

My #1 trick was upping on whole grains/fiber with longer cardio workouts. As for carbs, try to stay under 50grams a day if you can. It might not be easy at first but start reading nutrition labels when you go grocery shopping, also go easy on the breads/pasta and eat more fruits. Follow those things for at least 3 weeks and I guarantee you'll see results in no time. And remember, the key is consistency.

Good for you Jessi..........You're a great looking gal, and if you don't control the weight at this age, it's going to be really tough to shuck it later........

Allie, the bodyguard ended up under you. Sounds like a great time. 500 calories less a day will net you one pound a net.

Default Workout partner.

Having a friend to encourage you and you encourage her helps the workout.

Yesterday my friend motivated me to exercise for an hour. I did not realize an hour had elapsed until I saw my watch.

Default Yes, especially with Lady Godiva Chocolate Liquor

I have to take my time with that one. IMO each glass (2oz) is like eating a bowl of Rocky Road ice cream.

Now if you like chocolate I suggest Muscle Milk before you exercise.

total body cardio is the way to go don't just focus on one section of the body like thinking crunches are going to slim the waistline.

I've found interval training to be very beneficial even in just 30 minute (not including warm ups or cool downs) sessions 3 times a week. ex. jog in place for 30 seconds followed by running full tilt for another 30 seconds. then switch to another excersize like squat jumps and repeat

You'll find most cardio workouts focus on your legs. It's a big muscle group so it will burn lots of calories but dont neglect resistance training either! Dont forget to work out the shoulders and arms and back as well! It's the muscle in the body that give it shape so keep them engaged with resistance work out and you'll maintain a healthy figure.

Yoga will keep you flexible... I personally love yoga it's a great isometric workout holding those various poses

but the main focus to anything you do is DIET. adapt how often you eat and what you eat. I find eating several (5-6) times throughout the entire day keeps my metabolism up. Cut back on simple carbs and increase intake of complex carbs and protein. The best thing to do is ask a nutritionist... like this hobby YMMV with certain routines and diets. Find what works best for you.

Also

STICK WITH IT.

Commone theme you will hear here......... get a plan and stick to it....... you would be amazed how much that will help....... Water is your friend here too.... replace any and all soda/carbonated bevs w/water, and drink twice as much as you drink now........

Weight Watchers, Jenny Craig, QuickWeightLossCenter, etc...... all work to some extent, the key is AFTER the program that you do not revert to your bad habits.....

Best of luck!
