Frankly, I found many of them more appealing without makeup, but that's a personal taste thing.

What was the most interesting to me --- and this could easily have been a part of the design of the photo shoot --- was how so many of them seemed to have a personality transformation with the makeup.

It's like they put on a mask, and inhabited a character.

Do any providers feel like that at all? When you're not made up, do you feel like a different person? Does putting on makeup help you create a persona?

In any case, I found the pictures interesting. I appreciate the actresses choosing to be a part of this.

Just goes to show you the difference between fantasy and reality. There were only two girls that stood out to me as being cute or attractive without any make up. Plus most of them had their hair pulled back which didn't help either. And a few still weren't good looking to me even with the help of make up, eyelashes and hair. It was still cool to see the transformation like you said.

Definitely liked the transformation. I preferred most of the ladies after getting the makeup done.

Natural blue-eyed, fair skinned, redhead with sexy freckles! There were others who were striking with no make-up but she was head and shoulders number one!

Darryl Hanna was downright scary looking. She looks much better with the long hair she has in her glamor shots.

Great post - the pictures were super interesting! My guess is that most guys prefer the made up look, as it's more fantasy and is the ideal 'look' for a porn star. As a performer, it's part of the job to look the part so I can see it being like becoming a character.

In all honesty, that lifestyle probably doesn't do a lot of favors to someone's appearance overall, so the makeup helps conceal that. The number one appearance-changer I saw in that pictures is to skin and eyes, which tend to 'go' first when you are leading a more non-traditional lifestyle.

I think I've seen a web site about glamor shots - lots of chicks before and after.
Amazing what makeup can do and gives pause to initially meeting a chick based on photo alone.

Great post...I can definitely relate having seen a much plainer woman than what the photo shows....I also think photo's like this are somewhat misleading...a good lookig woman is good looking no matter the make-up...a photo w/o makeup can make her look worse than seeing her in person...
