Just had a brief visit to Chicago and ran into an oddity there that I don't understand. Seems like every girl I contacted wanted real life info for screening and wouldn't work with references or history from this board. I have never experienced that in any other city - sure, pockets of women here and there that want a picture with your ID and your linkedin, but it seemed like everyone in Chicago is following that protocol.

All due respect for how they want to run their business, but no fucking way am I giving real life details in an email or text that gets archived/saved on a phone, that's how you get pinched or blackmailed down the road.

So what's the deal, why is it so pervasive in Chicago and not in other cities?

Well dam that is crazy not sure why they would not do a provider reference to bad. I only ask for all the other stuff if someone dose not have a reference.
