Ladies....safe to go? Good areas to stay should I decide to go?

I see alot of negative stuff but sometimes that overshadows the good. I am looking for honest experiences.

Seriously, there are some good hotels around the airport and restaurants as well. There is even a Ruth's Chris fairly close to those hotels if you like steak.
