anybody ever watched the movie called "the girlfriend experience"?

well i just thought this movie was interesting.it talks about how a provider and hobbiest lives are like or atleast similar. it stars Sasha Grey the porn star and pretty much plays the role as a provider.it had everything in the movie..talked about screening,how to advertise as a provider,competition,message boards(like this), reviews, etc..just though id share

I liked the Girlfriend Experience. Sasha Gray was excellent (and a hottie). Soderberg did a good job directing - using ambient light with a Red One HD 'cinema video' camera. Nice look to the film. Pretty cinema verite but I'd watch it again.

I must not appreciate good art as well as the rest of you. I got about 1/3 of the way into it and thought it was way too boring.

I saw it yesterday and wasn't terribly impressed. I thought the scene with the hobbyist trying to trade favors for a review was interesting. My guess is that there are a lot of sleazeballs like that out there.

that scene was very spot on!!
(i had a gent request that i give him a discount bc hed write a review & it would bring me more clients. i declined on his rave offer)
i found the movie interesting how it relates to my life.
if i were an outsider looking in, i would have thought it was boring.
the secret diary of a call girl series...was more entertaining than that movie
