Default Oh, geez! Austin following San Francisco and LA.

I guess we'll need maps to let us know where the human waste and used hypodermics are...

https://www.foxnews.com/us/austin-pl...FsWYp9aUa3YNsQ

Hopefully Governor Abbott will stop it.

Whatever happened to vagrancy laws? Did libtard cities repeal them? We used to know how to deal with this problem. Then after the Occupy Wall Street bums took over Zuccotti Park back in 2011, the left decided squatting is yet another "right" guaranteed somewhere in the Constitution (just not in my back yard).

Funny how the squatters always seem to know where to go - in this case, Austin rather than Houston or Dallas?

Hmmm... ya thinks maybe yssup invited them all down for Splash Day??

Any City that is run by Ultra Liberals will eventually fall to pieces and become tent city shitholes. Of course big cities in California fall into that category but places like Detroit and Seattle are just as bad and getting worse every year. I can see it happening to Austin Texas being that the city is governed by Marxist Liberals and the Liberal twinks that live there that are void of any common sense to see what is happening to their city.

Damn shame. I used to love visit to San Francisco. Great town. Then it went downhill. I’ve been to Austin several times. It’s a cool place. Give it 5yrs to turn into a shithole.

Yeppers, the People's Republik of Austin has outdone themselves. Something tells me a change of parties is coming for this area. They had under 100 calls for homelessness issues in 2017 and 2018 and over 1000 calls in 2019.
Again, common sense does not exist down here in Austin.

Don't worry about what goes on down here. Worry about your own back yard. Allegheny county is a blue county, hopefully some liberal squats in your yard and takes a shit. That's about all you're worth.

I for one do not agree with allowing them to sleep anywhere. some of our over passes are filthy due to the homeless camps. At the same time I don't agree with Abbott abusing his power either. Of course he's only taking after his predecessor and president in regards to abusing power. It's the conservative way

Yeah, but Western Pa overwhelming went for Trump and he won Pa. as he did Texas.

There are homeless people in Austin, just like any other major city in this country. At night they are going to sleep somewhere. Abbott and others believe "out of sight, out of mind". If we don't see the homeless they don't exist. He has offered no solutions to the problem. From what I have quickly read on the subject, the city of Houston, which has seen its homeless population substantially decrease in recent years, has a city government that puts a great deal of focus on the problem and its solution whereas other cities do not. The city is working with organizations like HUD, the police, businesses, and other organizations to solve the problem.

I'd like your honest assessment for 2020. Do you see Pennsylvania staying with Trump in 2020?

I'd give it a slightly more than 50% chance at this point, but too many things could come up in the 16 months til the general election.

Yes I do. The economy in Pa is the best it’s been in decades..Steel, coal and fracking are coming back. The two largest cities, Philly and Pittsburgh are predominantly blue. The rest of the state is red. It will be close again. But Trump will have a huge war chest and will have a much more organized campaign this time around. If a far left Dem wins the nomination, I’m confident Trump will win Pa.
