If you don't mind the short drive to Bastrop there is a small Thai restaurant called 'Siam Thai' that is good. They are very much like what you would get at the Floating Markets or along the Soi's.

This past weekend I hit Radio Bar and Coffee. There is a Thai food truck there that has the best Thai food I have had in Austin. American husband, Thai wife, lived in Thailand for a while. Great food. https://www.deedeeatx.com/

I’m late to the party and love Thai. Next time you are here try Deckhands south Lamar. It’s owned by Laosian/Thai they have a lot of dishes. Ask for off menu specials.

There is a Thai food truck (and other food trucks) at corner of Anderson Mill Rd and Pond Spring Rd. Excellent authentic Thai food.
