This should not attract any negative remarks from the nattering nebobs of negativism. Take away the PR, the electronics, and the hype who do you think has the greatest female voice of all times?

Lucinda Williams (one of the most expressive voices I have ever heard)

I like women's voices that are both lower in register and have a little wear and tear that shows their character.

Sarah Brightman tops my list, and her sister Amanda runs a very close second.
