Default Fish tornado - Awesome

Here's a break from the usual BS tension in this forum:

http://www.weather.com/news/underwat...rnado-20121216

Watch in High-Definition.

Don't know what causes it, but it is spectacular. Makes me want to learn to scuba dive.

Hell, you don't even need that.

Just jab a gaffe into the water and yank them into the boat.

I was coming in Pass Cavallo and we thought we say what appeared to be a water spout except that it was not coming from the clouds, but from the water. The close we got the bigger it grew. Soon we could make out hundreds of birds circling and diving. Then we saw that it was a column of fish flying up in the air and spread over about an acre or so. There was a huge school of jacks that had run some bait up onto a shallow area called the hump. It was literally an explosion of fish and birds like nothing I have ever seen .
We threw a few old top water baits and fought some jacks for a bit just for shits and grins. It was wild.

That is some cool looking stuff

CJ, jacks are fun on a surf rod, on a trout rod they are fun for about 5 seconds, the next half an hour fucking sucks......lol... those sort of look like crevalles but the body shoud be a little deeper, it probably is though. Now AJ's will flat fuck you up, especially you get into some 70+ lb'ers. They are some pretty decent chow though.
