Default Obama’s policy strategy: Ignore laws

Obama is implementing a policy of non-enforcement of the law, instead of governing by passing legislation through Congress. He is expanding the power of the presidency by setting precedent. Liberals are pleased with Obama's arrogant use of power now, but they may regret it when a Republican president uses the same tactics in ways they don't approve of.

“Say a Republican were to follow this strategy after regaining the White House in January of 2013 and the Supreme Court upholds the health care bill, and Romney can’t repeal it because the Democrats in the Senate filibuster it, he could basically repeal it through non-enforcement,” John Eastman, professor of law at Chapman University

“The president is using executive power to do things Congress has refused to do, and that does fit a disturbing pattern of expansion of executive power under President Obama. In many ways, President Obama has fulfilled the dream of an imperial presidency that Richard Nixon strived for. On everything from [DOMA] to the gaming laws, this is a president who is now functioning as a super legislator. He is effectively negating parts of the criminal code because he disagrees with them. That does go beyond the pale.” Jonathan Turley, professor of law, George Washington University

Emporer oscuminable.. what an obnoxious cocksucker. He's trying his best to fuck all us hard working folks in the ass... well this november HE'S getting a freshly creosoted railroad tie jammed up his ass. He should then be brought up on treason and imprisoned, for his crimes against american citizens. He and his whole fucking group of fellow cocksuckers..

Some of you must have missed my earlier thread. After the election and Obama loses he has three months to do some serious damage to the country. I expect the Senate to be taken away and there to be some very pissed off democrats. If they can piss in the pool in time for Romney and the GOP...screw the country and the people. This is politics and more important.

Fortunately, Obama and congress cannot do anything without Republican support during the lame duck session.

Think again, Obama can write executive orders, issue pardons, and sign treaties with other countries that the Senate has passed by a simple majority vote. The Senate is ruled by the democratic party until next year.

He's absolutely desperate. Even his old Harvard prof says he "didn't do enough to advance the progressive agenda". And any student of history knows what the socialists do with leaders who can no longer advance the revolution. . . they find other "uses" for them.

He'd better watch his back with people like the Clinton's behind him.

You get 'em Seedman! Loved your post.

Ya, like a few days ago when he said he didn't care how the congress voted, he was going to stop the deportation of illegals just because their parents broke our laws and they, now that they are 18, continue to break the law. I can't wait to see how this goes down.

http://www.marylandjuice.com/2012/06/full-video-obamas-speech-announcing.html

At 2:15 minutes into the speech, he admits that congress no-billed it, and at 4:01 he says he's stopping "dreamer" deportations.

So, CBJ7, you support ignoring the law for political gain? Thanks for your input.
