I just got back to town and was heading to a date w/my favorite lady. I had wine, cheese, crackers, her brand of smokes, and enough to pay for four hours at her rate.

I pulled up to the room and the maids were making the beds. They had seen me before and they had that look: "he doesn't know." No word until 45 minutes later, a text: I'm not seeing u no more.

I was a little pissed, this was to be the last warm day of the year and I could have been golfing. But mostly I was sad. I think in this hobby one has to know things will end but when things are good one sure hopes it isn't today.
