Default Political Forum

A few of my friends have asked why there is no political forum on Eccie. It's a big thing in Houston on ASPD and was wondering who thought it would be a good idea to have one here?

The old political forum on aspd was actually a fun place where friends came to debate and throw poo at each other. We all knew it was in good fun.

I'd hate to been the first one to shit a nice place like the sandbox.

Let us have our fun again.

If we get one on this board I might just put the gloves back on!

Don’t you guys know sex and politics are a dangerous combination? Next thing being written is to allow WTF to start discussing Religion in the yet to be created Political forum… right along with the killing of sacred cows I suspect.

I would like to see one if it can keep political discussions out of the regional forums.

You want to discuss religion, politics and race go to other public forums.
This site is supposed to be about hobbying.
All the serious stuff should be discussed elsewhere.
I'm here to forget all that shit, lets have fun.

People also come here to socialize, make friends and share information behind the scenes. I myself feel a lot more comfortable sharing info with someone I actually know. I made many friends in the old HPT forum on aspd.

If you don't like a political forum then just don't particapate in it.

Is there anything that you've posted that isn't hobby related?

Hello Dali.....hum.....sounds familiar.

I had to think about this one before responding.
It takes a village to raise a child....not sure what that means here but it sounds good....back on topic.

One thing about the old ASPD was community. And part of that is sharing.

So is sharing sports, music, financial, auto, technology and other types of information a bad thing? Is it worth the server space to allow those types of information to be shared? Each member can decide on the first, only adminstration can decide the second.

Can members benefit from information on the above topics here or elsewhere?

Can other websites treat both sides of the question fairly? Most "places" tend to take one side or the other, based on previous experience. However, if someone knows a net space where politic concepts and ideas can be shared in a mult-phased forum, please share that.

And as Dali said, you don't have to participate, and the Houston forum was pretty lively. Well just one old man's ideas and thoughts....

I think politics are sexy... Talking politics turns me on... why I was just at lunch the other day and did all I could to keep myself from jumping the poor guy sitting next to me talking about politics... and I DO believe I may have seen him "adjust" a few times himself... I'm just saying...
