You are seen in public with your provider, what do you do?
Another thread got me thinking about this... and I thought it would be good question for D&T.
Several months ago. I was at a restaurant with a provider, and I came across work acquaintances from a few years ago. I introduced the lady I was with, and the acquaintances did not know me personally, and I cannot be really sure what they thought, but we did nothing to make it look like were dating, and the acquaintances were not personal friends. The provider and myself were casually dressed at a "bar and grill", so it could easily appeared as having light dinner and drink with a friend.
I introduced the provider with her hobby first name, which was a normal name. She mentioned I should have used her real name (this is an exception).
Tell me, what is good advice, if your out an about with a provider and person from work spots you?
Not sure if this has been addressed, but I don't recall this being discussed.

Yes, oops! It has been my experience, that people who do not introduce me get far more questionable looks. I am in public with men regularly for my "real world job", I try to act exactly the same if I am with a gentleman, most people don't think twice.

Just roll with it, baby. We are all in sales, in one way or another.
Have a cover prepared, somehing the lady is comfortable with.
Most of us have other lives/jobs, anyway.
Get on the same page about it.
I always meet my guys in a public place, so this is a constant worry for them.
Keep it light and easy and don't worry so much!!
xoC
Opps, can't seem to edit the subject...makes me look like I have ILLITERATE tatted there!!

I agree that one would introduce the lady, but need to determine a name etc. The guy will have to improvise the story if further questions are asked to make sense for the work aquaintances.
Love to hear some of the whoppers, here is mine, "feeling felicia (name is a joke) is my neice from indiana, she is attending harvard (whatever is the closest) college, taking law (whatever local college is famous for) and my sister, barbare dare, asked me to help get her acquanited with the area"
At this point the escort says something in latin, or starts coughing like they are choking, and runs for the bathroom.

A few weeks ago, I was at a bar with another provider. A buddy of mine that I haven't seen in years recognizes me and stops by to say hello. When I was introducing her, I said the first letter of her hobby name then stopped myself and then said her real name.
I always introduce them with their real world name because if they were to start to google hobby names, the truth might come out on what you do every Friday at lunch time.

I had a situation, leaving an private incall, where a friend of the lady's came up as I left. I asked my lady one question as I left, and fortunately used her real name, a dumb luck accident that spared her a few questions I'm sure.
But it makes me think that if I'm to go in public with a provider, I'd best know her real name. Ive always thought if you have someone in your car you should know her name if you get pulled over. Yes officer, this is my friend Chocobooty. I'm giving her a ride home from the pet store at 3am.
I certainly think a lady that has someone to a private home for incall should want the John to know, in case of adversity. I mean you have the guy in your home, a first/nickname isn't a security stretch, and it might save embarrassment.

Some time ago I was shopping at the mall with my son when I saw a provider whom I had seen a few weeks before walking towards us with her son. I was looking forward making no eye contact but the boys knew each other from a hockey tournament they played against each other the weekend before. They said hello and started talking as we stood there introducing ourselves to each other and I'm sure with looks of amazement on our faces. When we left he said he checked him pretty good a few times and when shaking hands after the game her son commented to mine about being good hits. They both recognized each other as we got closer. It was pretty funny. I met her again a few months later with a good laugh.

That reminds me of a story.
Guy was in a grocery store when he noticed an extremely attractive lady was looking at him from across the produce area. He minded his own business, but he couldn't get her out of his mind. He looked up, and she gave him a little wave. He nervously asked her, "Do I know you from somewhere?"
She cautiously replied, "Yes. You're the father of one of my kids."
He got a blanched look and started thinking back at the only time he'd ever been unfaithful to his wife. He looked at her and said, "Are you the stripper I fucked over the pool table at my bachelor party, while your partner whipped me with a paddle?"
She got a funny look on her face and said, "No. I'm the teacher at the school your son goes to."

Most likely if they had anything negative to say, it was out of jealousy. Unless you let it be known, they don't know who she was to you.

Its happened to me on several occasions. Fortunately I have quite a few women that work for me and I often take my both my male and female employees out to lunch if I am in their neck of the woods. The few times it has happened I introduced them as you would introduce anyone. Nothing was ever said beyond that.
