Some of it depends on what part of town you'll be in.
Tacqueria Mexico on Rainbow blvd is good with easy access from I-35.

Tacqueria Mexico has three locations. rainbow, East KC, and the best food is located on SouthWest Blvd. West 2 blocks from the I35 overpass and before the Railroad overpass. Great people and very authentic; Blanca runs a tight ship.

Very unique family style and plenty to take home.

Also worth mention are Corner Cafe, Roxannes in Parkville and the carry out at Red-X in Riverside.
