Any advantage or disadvantage? Is the menu typically less? Does it vary from gal to gal within the agency? Is an Agency typically an Outcall to my hotel room, or do Agency gals have incall places?

What typical info might an Agency ask for before accepting or scheduling you with a lady?

Hey guy, you sure ask alot of questions. I like to use agencies when I come to KC, because they are usually reliable. Nothing worse than a 3 hr waste of time on a flake out.

Not all Independent providers are like that... Just like not all clients are NCNS or waste hours of your time with no intention on setting appointments. ..Right Ricco

We have all seen the flake out girls. Not all of independents are flake out, but it it like pickup some food at a fast food place, all of them are not bad, as is McDonalds, and some are quite good. But you can's always be sure.

The trouble with independents, you can't always be sure unless you do a lot of research. Even then, you are not 100% sure until you meet them. The trouble with agencies is that you are about 100% sure that there is a pimp involved. So, many of us avoid agencies like the plague. That being said, I have only used one agency: Plaza, before Dennis. It worried me when he died about what would become of the records. The amount of records that some agencies seem to keep is a concern.

Savannah, I'm playing the averages - thats all. Never said all independents are no shows...just said agencies do alot better job of keeping appointments as a group, than independents have - in my own little world.

JR...not all agencies are pimps. EF comes to mind - yes she took a cut, but it was a genuine business arrangement, as she provided advertising/good reputation that would let a new EF girl have a backlog right away.

Sooo....if you don't take for granted that all agencies are pimps, your odds of seeing a pimped girl may actually be higher if you stick to independents.

For anyone who has been in the hobby and thinks along the way they have never seen a managed girl...chances are you already have whether you like it or not.

Many girls...even here in KC and some of the posse's from Texas are really good at the "illusion" of not being managed and that they really love what they do.

But they have been trained/coerced/threatened (whatever) to act and speak in that way

It also helps some of the providers, they can read it with out logging in under an alias.

As a general rule, not all, but most, I have found agency gals have more of a tendency to up-sell.

The information the agency asks for varies from agency to agency, just like it does with independents.

Savannah, keep in mind that my comment was directed at JR.....because although he protests, most believe that one of the independent ladies he has seen many times was pimped.

How do I know this? Well there was a multi-paged thread about it, complete with screen captures of info that indicated a connection among 3 independent girls, and first person accounts of being approached by this pimp. I don't absolutely know with certainty that JRs regular is pimped....but I'd say odds are better than 50/50 that she is....independent or not.

I'm not condemning JR for seeing a pimped girl. As others have stated, sooner or later most mongers will (sometimes unwittingly). I'm just saying that not all agencies are pimps and independents are not all really independent, and that gross simplification should not be used to answer the OPs original question.

Are you not concerned about your personal information, considering you have utilized LC and AYs services. Many times.

I've been wanting to post on this issue since management discussions started coming up. I think that a lot of people have blurred lines about what is their business and is not and who plays what role. Afterall, this is a fantasy and the better the provider, the more it should cause confusion, at times.

I am beat, but I plan to post tomorrow regarding my thoughts on management, agencies and independents.... pros,cons, differences and blurred lines with and what should be assumed as client/provider confidentiality, including privacy.
