So, I found myself feeling adventurous today, and have been tinkering around on the site for a while. Not many new postings today, tried to send a few PMs with no response.

That got me wondering... Is there anything wrong with reaching out to a provider if she hasn't posted that day? I've always followed a code of only shooting a note/text if the lady has posted her "Open for business" sign that day. Is that the proper etiquette, or have I been screwing myself for years by not reaching out whenever there hasn't been an ad posted that same day?

The only time I deviate from that practice is with a few regulars I go see for massage, and they always seem to accommodate, but they are regulars as I said. I've been wanting to branch out and try some new things, just wondering what the standard is.

Agreed. I reach out whenever, regardless of any postings. Never had a problem. If they are working they'll answer, if not they won't.

I happen to travel for work way too much. I have places I frequent so I reach out to the ladies when my plans look as though I'll be near them, when I have funds, and also feel as though I'll have time to actually see them. I reach out early most of the time in order to get screening taken care of; but at times my plans get changed through no fault of my own and I end up not being where I thought I would be at any given time. I'm sure there are multiple ladies on here who think I'm a flake or just existing their time.... I'm not. When I reach out to them and go through that process, it is really something I'm planning.
But just as you said, I have had a few potential "missed opportunities" I believe because I feel as though a lady would be upset if I message at the last minute to see if they have any time available for the evening.

The few ladies with whom I've had the opportunity to spend time, have always been down to give me a reference and also do a short notice visit of their schedule works out.

Never know whose in town or what town "if not posted" unless you ask. I have ask a few I have seen pop up on the main page if they ever come this way. Think I might have a couple looking at our area.

I don't worry about plans getting changed. I know how RW work can be. I would rather someone keep trying to schedule and have to change it, then hear nothing and then have a last minute I can't entertain because I'm not ready on short notice.

The ladies are only allowed to post one ad per week in the the Ads forum and one for the weekend in the weekend lineup. Me thinkest you have been screwing yourself out of quality tang. For the most part as Spanky said if she's working she will answer if she isn't she won't. Some guys get in there feels when ladies don't reply to every text message. I just look at it like hey she wasn't working today.

An email or pm or text isn't a bad idea if a lady doesn't keep the most up to date calendar or schedule on her website (if she has one) or P411 profile/P411 calendar. And with sites like ECCIE or TER you can only post once a week (well ECCIE has a weekend section too). So....a email/text/pm/call or all 4 lol is worth a shot.

Given 1) the rules here (already pointed out upthread) that providers get only two ads weekly in an area (1 in Provider Ads, and 1 in Weekend Lineup), and 2) the regularly appearing complaint that an "Available Now" or "Short Notice" ad forum is needed (also voiced upthread), why would you assume that ladies are available only if they've posted an ad that day?

If a lady hasn't posted in a few months, I might be hesitant to approach her for fear she's moved, quietly retired, or on tour, but if she's posted in the last week or two I've always figured it doesn't hurt to PM asking about availability; the worst she could say is "No, I'm not available", and I'm no worse off than I was before asking. (Ok, the worst she could say is "No, I wouldn't ever see you, even if you were the last whoremonger on Earth", and even then maybe I'm better off, because now I can add one more name to the "Ladies I need never bother" list.)

In fact, I've had pretty good luck messaging ladies who have posted ads in nearby cities, asking if they might consider stopping in Memphis, or at least letting me know in advance if they were ever in the area; on several occasions they've changed their travel plans to accommodate my request (luck most likely assisted by a failure of guys in her original target city to prebook; I have no illusions about my magnetic personality and smoldering good looks ).

Thanks all! Makes sense, for sure. And yeah, an available now thread would be awesome. My schedule is non-existent, so when I get a break it's a surprise and I usually just look to see who had recent activity. Good to know though that I can change my "filter" to include a few weeks instead of a day or two!

Bottom line..you are damned if you do and damned if you dont..just browse coed in any city and u will see provider rants about guys bugging them when they arent available...then you see the same ones saying "sure..bug thr shit out of me"...best bet..do it..and you got a 50/50 shot at either pissing her off or getting an appt

As far as an available now thread..the aspca has been called because that fuckin horse is beat to death...if your available your available...if your not..he will figure it out and move on..the theory is flawed...the game is played a week at a time via ads..place the ad and guys can make plans..or try there luck short notice...but with the daily threADS and look me post already utilized daily..an availability thread just clutters an already cluttered venue..fuck all u gotta do is go to the iso coed or sandbox..or welcome wagon and u will find multiple providers letting it be known they are available in some (what they perceive) slick way

If i place an ad on monday that im available all week..then I guess I better be available...if I have free rime on Thursday and hobbyiest "a" wants to see me all he has to do is contact..the answer is yes or no..
