OK so maybe this is a dumb question or some may think so.Is it possible to see a provider that I have had contact with before and want to just spend the night out,dinner drinks etc,etc,and not expect anything more than that when its time to part ways?

Hey if it's woth it to you I don't think you will have a hard time finding that one. You might just think about getting a regular date though. It will be alot cheaper and you will probably have as good a time. Unless your married . lol

(*chuckle*) I have zero issues with sexual performance. Yet, there are times where I might pay a woman for a session that doesn't involve sex.

About 15 years ago, my first wife was ... well ... anyway, I needed to bring her to work functions and she adamantly refused to attend. So I called up an escort service out of the phone book, explained that I needed a good actress as a stand-in for my wife; and as long as I had that job, that escort showed up and played the role of my wife for such functions.

At the time, I wasn't aware sex was included in the price. That would, after all, have potential legal issues so no way would a service offering such things blatantly advertise in the yellow pages. Besides, my first wife was okay in the sex department and there was no reason to be having sex with anyone else.

Nevertheless, for appearance purposes she would have to stay in my hotel overnight. The first couple of times I had to beat her off with a stick (metaphorically speaking), but once she got the message that there wasn't going to be sex -- ever, period -- she actually dropped the price for subsequent bookings.

More recently, on a couple of occasions things have come up that have necessitated a no-sex date.

In both cases, touring ladies were involved. I had booked them well in advance. Touring ladies make decisions based upon pre-bookings; and backing out of an appointment, particularly last minute, can be financially problematic for them. Since I like the ladies I see, I want the finances to work for them.

In one case, I had gotten a call on my way there that seriously limited the amount of time I would have available due to a semi-emergency. I had booked her for 3 hrs which included lunch. I just did the lunch portion and paid her for the three hours. Let's face it, a cancellation with 30 minutes notice would have sucked for her.

I do some unorthodox martial arts activities, and had a bit of an accident on the day previous to the other visit that rendered me unsafe for sex due to too many lacerations in too many places.

Let's be honest -- as a whole, providers can be a pretty jaded lot. Calling up a provider the day before an appointment that has been planned for months and saying "Oh, well, you see, I was doing this mixed martial arts thing and I look like I've just been through hell" wouldn't have been credible.

What IS credible is showing up to the appointment with the proper envelope, your lips split all to hell and twice their usual size, and all manner of bruises and lacerations. And bring my backgammon board, because there's no way a provider with any sense would want to kiss someone in that sort of condition.

In general, I won't book a lady that I don't think would be enjoyable outside the bedroom; because crap can come up that makes the sex part inadvisable or impossible -- and if that happens on short notice, I'll still show up and pay them.

But -- yes, it is entirely possible to see ladies for sex-free appointments.

Now, personally, if I am *anticipating* an event sans sex; I have plenty of recourse to civie women who would join me just for the pleasure of my company, so it makes no sense for me to pay a provider for that.

But, sometimes, stuff just goes awry and I've found escorts willing to accommodate a no-sex date, though sometimes they have needed some convincing.

Thanks to all who replied here,didnt really go where I thought it would but thats the chance you take.I will continue to do sex free dates with providers that are regulars to me dispite the fact I have working male parts and no problems approaching women simply because for me personally not everything in life revolves around sex.And since I do enjoy younger people to hang out with the possibilities of finding a regular date half my age is remote at best.Its just refreshing to me to have the opportunity to be with someone who pleases me even if there is no sex involved,I enjoy it as much as the next guy but a non sex date makes sence in a lot of ways for me,so to each his own I guess.

Yes not directed at him and was more of an explination of why a man might want to pay for an escort without the bcd. Of course there are other reasons as Farmer may have.
