pros and cons of escort services & independant

Its been a while since I had my own escort service and things have changed alot and curious about the pros and cons of both an escort service and being independant. Everyone is entitled to their opinion and there is not a right or wrong thought or idea on what u think about one or the other..
ideas and suggestions on running one is welcome,
some things u notice about escort services u dont like on how they are ran,
some things u do like about how independants differ from a escort service,
ideas about picutres with a face showing or not showing,
some of this is just things that came to mind but throw in some stuff..
ideas on what to say when u answer the phone and how to answer questions....

Agencies:

Pro's

1.Someone most times is usually always availiabe as local independents are usually booked and harder to reach on short notice.

2. They are usually either well reviewed or only have crappy reviews....never no where in between so this helps weed out the ones that suck.

Cons:
1. They dont necessarilly cater to longer type booked appointments especially rate wise since there is a significant increase to account for their cut of the profits. The rate is usually a little higher than the local independent rate as well to offset the cut. Usually is a more quantity of clients mantra than quality of the sessions.

2. Screening usually takes longer, and it feels better to pay an indy over an agency.

3. The pictures and availiability of girls on the site is usually back dated and not current.

4. Very little variety of types of ladies.

5. Just my experience, but routinely they dont necessarily cater to clients of color usually due to stereotypical reasoning beyond preference. (size, stamina, etc.)

In my experience, agency ladies generally don't provide a GFE level of experience (especially including kissing, which is a "must have" service in my book).

Back when the Mothership was in orbit, ISTR a number of reviews of agencies in Lower Alabama which seemed to suggest that the agencies in the Mobile area provided (what I'd consider) GFE services at reasonable rates. Part of me wants to review the 'bama agency reviews here, and the archived ones at That Other Site to see if I'm remembering correctly. The other part of me reminds me that the MS Gulf Coast is a bit closer than Lower Alabama, and is the home base of a few well reviewed indies who I need to see....

some things u notice about escort services u dont like on how they are ran, I have tried occasionally to book thru a service, but never have due to one of the following: (1) the rates tend to be higher than indies, I assume to be able to pay the escort and the service; (2) I only do outcalls and they refuse or discourage outcalls (by raising the fee substantially); and (3) they tend to require a more invasive verification process than I am willing to subject myself to, including, but not limited to, a credit card requirement. I spend quite a sum on P411, and if it isn't taken for verification, I tend not to do business with the provider.

Finally, I think LE targets the agencies. And, the Agencies tend to keep records on clients (phone #s, cc #s, sexual likes/dislikes, dates, proclivities, etc.). When they are busted, and I think they are busted at a higher rate than indies b/c the arrest numbers are higher, those records fall into LE's hands. Then, the evidence of your "crime" has been served up by the Agency you frequent.

WOW, great thoughts and points.....
some agencies have to charge more due to the large amount of cost to the ad in the phone book...and a credit card terminal is thru the roof....BUT I DIDN'T have one when I had a service in mobile, alabama so that helped not having to ask a million quesitons.

Generally, I have found that agencies do not have ladies who provide GFE services and upsell is often a problem. But, I've experienced that with indies too. On the Coast, bait and switch is a serious problem, as is upsell.

As always, reviews are a critical part of the research process. I suspect, though, that a guy thinking about using an agency is doing it because he wants something now rather than later. And research usually means planning ahead.

The upside to being a poorer man with a less-than-extensive hobby budget is that it forces me to plan ahead and do research. I think I've had better experiences than the average hobbyist as a result.

Though I could be deluding myself.

I don't know what is BETTER, but I would prefer a lady. A guy turns me off from a number of standpoints. I would always feel like he is pimping the girls whether he is or not. A lady...well, I think of her as a mother hen looking over her girls.

My thoughts on a service vs. Indy is an Indy is always better. Although harder to book, you don't have the overhead therefore no upselling. Plus there have been many good points made for not using a service. However FD I think you have a big advantage. You are well know on here and have a good rep as best I can tell. If you want a service have you ever considered forming a coalition of independents and each of the providers sharing expenses kind of like a partnership etc?

Service in Mobile - Now you've got my attention.

The natural tendancy would be to deal directly with the source. H&LL, if I could, I'd by my gas straight from the Chevron refinery.

But if you think about it, there are benefits in dealing with a good, reputable and discreet agency. A few things to consider:
1) You only have to clear screening once and then you can see all the girls the agency has to offer. Which is better, to be on an agency's list or a dozen indy's lists.
2) Indy's usually start off working for an agency, then they may move out on their own. If you are on a quest to meet the new girls and the agency gets to know you; believe me, they will call you when they have someone they think you'd like.
3) Sometimes you'll run across a girl that you wish you hadn't ever met. Could be because of her, her boyfriend, etc. With an agency, you're insulated from this potential grief.
4) If you have a legit gripe and the agency knows you, a good agency will make it right.

The key is good, reputable and discreet. A good agency will attract the cream of the crop girls. They can get to know you and all you'll be is a phone number on speed-dial. And, for the most part, rates are usually comparable (basically what the market will bear).

BTW, no to a man answering the phone. It should be a honey-sweet voice of a woman that can put together proper sentences.

Ez rider...u are correct about girls starting out with a agency...and its hard to wonder how they conduct their business behind closed doors...I would do a call back to the client after the girl did services...I would ask how she was dressed, did she try to up sell, did she do GFE or offer it or PSE, did she turn her ringer off her cell phone, did she have a driver or did she drive herself...I ask these questions cause u cant always tell if a new provider is telling the truth....actions speak louder than words...
I had a guy that was apart of my service that would see if the girl would steal...he would tell her to call the service back and tell the service that he wasn't answering the door and steal the call...I had one girl that made that mistake...lol so he done his part and he was well REWARDED..wink wink....she did not get the money up front and he told her after it was said and done that she was a theif and she was pissed...her fault...
but the other thing mentioned about some girls coming together and making a service is ususally what some do when they are ready to retire or they bring in girls from other places and keep rotating in new girls from time to time..all different kinds and keeping it interesting....
PS...I WILL NEED SOME MEN PROVIDERS COMING UP THIS WINTER....WHEN I HAVE MY SERVICE GOING...I DO HAVE REQUEST SOMETIMES....

I think if your a good business women and you have good girls and you make sure all is good like you did with follow up fd150 having a service is good as long as you demand 100% from all there are lots of pros and cons with all things ... making a provider pay a deposit helps like 200$ 25 each call helps... if ever need fine wine call me lol

never thought about the deposit thing up front...
its been over 10 yrs since I ran a service and its sooo different now..
but thats a great plan....what if she is new and just starting out...any suggestions
on that? poor thing flat broke and starting out.....hmmmmm
and another question, are we girl poviders allowed to write a review on another provider if we have done a triple play? (two girl tag team) each provider does there own thing and its service....
