Question: On Rates for Multiple Hours
I just looked at a showcase that quoted rates for 30 minutes, 45 minutes, one hour, 90 minutes, and two hours (actually, "120 minutes" was quoted, but, you know). Most of the time, when both a one-hour rate and a two-hour rate are quoted, the two-hour is somewhat less than twice the one-hour, which makes some sense: some "overhead" (preparation and screening time) are already covered. But in the showcase I just saw, 60 minutes was $250 and 120 minutes was $550. That's unusual -- being penalized monetarily for wanting a longer appointment -- but this wasn't the first time I've seen it.
So, what's up? As I see it, two possibilities. One, the lady really doesn't like spending two hours with one client, and sets her rates to discourage that. Or, two: maybe she's having an arithmetic issue?
Part of me wonders what she'd say if I asked to book one hour, followed immediately by one hour. I won't be finding out, since I won't be in Austin anytime soon, besides which she's a smoker. But I am curious.

There are some providers that view longer appointments as much more exhausting and charge more for them to discourage them. I suppose some view it as I put my all into an hour and longer just wears them out.

I think it's just bad math. I've seen a few rate listings where the 90min rate was higher per minute than the 60 or 120min rate.

I tend to think it is too discourage the longer dates. On the other hand, maybe more is offered on a 2 hour date than an hour date.

Mainly bad hooker math. Years ago, I saw a lady that had higher 2 hour rates and asked her about it as our two+ hours were wrapping up. She apologized and said she meant to change that, but just hadn't gotten around to it. She did ask if I wanted some of my donation back, which I declined, but appreciated.
But, most experienced ladies know that a two hour is usually easier on them since at least 30 minutes will be "down time" until the gent recovers for round two.

"60 minutes $200 - 120 minutes $450"
I'll take 2 consecutive 1 hour appointments please!?!

I looked at one lady that charged $300 for an hour and $600 for two hours. I have had 2 hour sessions and nothing more happens except more talking and we get around a little slower. Seems a waste to me, less work for her, less sex for my buck for me, just a bad deal. I think it is that she just cannot stand being with a John for that long. Also, these ladies tend to get GPS because some dumb spender willing to do it, trying to get her to like him.
I will book 2 separate hours for same price instead of one 2 hour session with at same price. I can get two one hours with different women or a three some for same price. Not good marketing to me.

Sounds like she doesn't want us to stay as long.

Not everyone is a marketing genius.
Read the Ad, pay the rate or move on.

Most ladies can't do math and a lot of them don't really have rates anyway and don't remember what they might have said. They will post four contradictory rates in two different ads, tell you something else on the phone, ask for a different amount in person, and may accept something much less without a twitch. How much they want depends on how much they need at that moment, how badly they need it, and what they think you can pay. I totally ignore posted rates.

They are hookers not mathematicians. You're giving to much thought as to their motivations. Just ask for a better rate you think is fair and she can say yes or no.

I have seen rates that didn't make sense and I just dismiss it as bad business decisions. If a lady really doesn't want to see you for multiple hours, she probably won't offer them at all. I personally love my multiple hours, their so much more fun. I offer discounts for multiple hours, the longer our meeting, the deeper the discount. It just makes sense to me. On the other side, I don't offer meetings shorter than an hour.

Some of us so called "hookers" have college educations, hold mainstream jobs, have mainstream careers, are intelligent and can do math. Be careful when defining other humans by stigmas and stereotypes. I'm sure you don't want to be defined by the stigmas and stereotypes of being a hobbyist.
