I know a lot of you munchkins are too young to remember movie drive-ins, but there was a day when the "passion pit" was a staple of high-school dating. Lost my virginity at a drive-in during "Paper Moon," in a '65 Mustang - so obviously I went a LOT after that.

Anybody else have fond memories of drive-in dating?

Yes, I remember the drive-in and went every weekend! Funny, I just can't remember any of the movies that were playing.......the windows were fogged up!

I miss those places for sure! It was a lot of fun going but you had to pick just the right spot so the others you knew were close by. One honk was not first base...

I lost my virginity at the old Twin drive-in...there's a gas well there now...I pass by there at least a dozen times a week...

Take a short drive South on 45 to Ennis. Galaxy is one of the few drive-inns still in existence and a lot of fun with the right lady

HEHEHEHE I worked at the Drive In when I was a young lad in a small rural town. The girls would come in the snack bar and their hair all messed up, smiles on their faces and flirting like the little horny bitches they were. Man those were the days. Got a little bit older and the Drive In was the place to be on the weekend. There and the lake a place for the teens to let it all hang out. That was Soooo much fun I will never forget it.

my firstborn was conceived in the back seat of an old Ford at the Thunderbird drive-in in Phoenix AZ...not gonna say what movie was playing, cause it reminds me just how old I am! LOL

I particularly liked the "Carload for $1" nights. On those nights, I was NOT ashamed to borrow my dad's '54 Chevy station wagon.

Remember the Gemini in Dallas? Took my folks' car there once with cloth seats. Girlfriend was a squirter and really made a mess. Spent the next morning with upholstery cleaner trying to make it look presentable.

Went double dating, Chevy Vega (Not the Hatchback). They got out and sat on the hood, we went to the back seat.... It was like some kinda flexibility challenge.... Flipped the front seets forward, and finally found a position... is still a wonderful memory to this day.

There is also a Drive in in Granbury....
