Here's my question - yes I do prefer longer dates (who doesn't?) and would like to appeal to the gentleman who can afford that. I'm thinking really longer dates, like weekends and weeks.

Question - what is really appealing to the kind of gentleman who can afford that kind of enjoyment?

Do you find, from any kind of site, that there are particular kinds of omissions that you would like to see included?

Any kinds of photos that are particularly appealing to the more upmarket client?

Please don't lambast me, I'm seriously asking and am seriously interested in your views. I want to provide what I have to the right market.

Being a married guy, I have no interest in even overnights but I'd guess that any guy who was in a position to take a longer date would expect a full menu and would expect a donation menu that would be scaled to the longer period. All the rest would be negotiated in advance, of course.
As to photos, upscale, upscale, upscale. The clothing, the body, the face, upscale; although the face doesn't have to be shown it needs to be blurred or masked in such a way as to let the client see that it's well shaped etc.

I'll echo JB. The marriage thingie really puts a hamper on dating for extended times. A shorter rendezvous works very well for me, too.

For a shorter rendezvous, physical appearance, menu of services, and fee are the primary considerations. But you probably won't spend all weekend or week BCD, so personality, character, interests, etc. become much more important. Will he enjoy doing X with you? Your website, ads, posts here or on other boards, etc. all have to give the reader a good idea of what you're like to be around. And you may have to be willing to differentiate and focus on a narrower target audience; making Joe think he'd really like to spend a weekend with you may require enough information about you that Ed and Bill will conclude you're not their cup of tea. You can try to appeal to everybody for a shorter rendezvous but I doubt that approach works as well for the longer periods.

I also am married and have relatively small windows of opportunity to play. I've only done one overnight and only a few dates longer than two hours. So take my suggestions for what they're worth; at current exchange rates, $0.

I have done weekends with ladies I knew quite well. I have never done a weekend, but know many ladies who have. Too many have gone away for a weeek with someone incompatable (not a jerk, just no chemistry of common interests) and they all refuse to do it without at least one or two 24 hr trial runs first.

The reality of chemistry is not something that can be described--it is an emotional/subjective reaction. A weekend with someone when the two of you have no chemistry can be painful, even if both are well meaning and "nice people". A week can be hell.

One other thing that came to me overnight. As Chevalier and Old-T say, compatibility and personality matching are more important. That means, you have to be a better actress for a longer period of time.
Also, I'd like to amend the reference to "upscale" body. I didn't mean you have to be a Playboy Bunny. What I meant was that your body needs to be pampered and totally groomed. That probably means Brazilian instead of razor. Bleaching of the anal area instead of just being clean. The equivalent of facials all over your body so that there are no blemishes instead of the little red spots some ladies have on their asses, for example.

I do quite often, especially in New York and abroad, visit with a lady for a weekend or a week as I travel; her in depth knowledge of all things local is extremely important..

To me, an upscale website should list your interests and hobbies; I may connect that you enjoy the opera or symphony, or you have a certain type of dog or cat; personal information about you that is not too specific and in your comfort zone..

Education; you list you are well educated; again, witout being specific, list your education; BS or MS or working on a doctorate, etc.

Do you speak more than one language? If so, list that you are bi-lingual..

You listed that you are well travelled; list your favorites, maybe someone reading has either been to that place or wishes to go and will connect with you..

What is most appealling for me to have a longer date?

Someone with intimate local knowledge of the finest upscale dining that is not on the radar; current events knowledge; fine wine knowledge, cigar knowledge, local or visiting Symphonies and Theatre..

I am not a fan of nude shots in the gallery section; I have a preference for fashionability; a business suit, high heels, the jacket suggestably open to let me have an inticing glimpse; a summer dress blowing around your legs in the wind; etc.

I want to be inticed to meet you....

I hope I have not rambled; I may have to wing my way to Florida to see you now!

For me, your website should read like a resume; broken into categories with a short blurb on each category; something will catch my attention..

Personally... for me the hook is a good visual. Your pics need to be smokin hot. Yours, in your web site are not. Knowing nothing about you... i would not even go for the hour based on your current marketing. After the visual... would be some great reviews etc.

You're right that the photos on my site aren't the best. I will do professional photos and ditto with the site. That's why I'm not marketing the site as is.

That said, a regular client I had a delightful lunch with a couple of days ago commented that I look 'gorgeous'. I wouldn't venture to say that I'm gorgeous to everybody, but I wouldn't want people to get the impression from my present photos that I'm dog meat.

Which brings me to another point you raised - rates. The ones on my website will also change, I doubt I'll have an hourly rate and will probably have a two hour minimum.

Lunch dates are one of my favorite types of dates, and my regular pays me $1200 - $1400 for that. I'm happier starting with those rates but think it'd be easier to break into the (visible) market with a two hour minimum.

As for weekend or weeks , I don't have too much experience with that but I do have a lot of experience with Clock-Free dates and Overnight as you can see from my reviews here and on other sites (I can link you to those privately as well).
I've done three clock free dates this month alone. They are very common - very popular.

Amanda, I say it's all in how you market yourself. I will tell you now. PLEASE for your own sake, get off the escort-site platform, If you're trying to cater to high end clientele, you will want to invest in a cleaner image. I recommend wordpress (my website was build on wordpress). I have also build great/ professional looking website for other providers on blogger that attract the right clientele for them. So no you do not have to spend a fortune on a site. $10 a year is what it costs on blogger. My wordpress site costs $10 a month. I have more control over my wordpress (as for as terms and conditions/hackers) so I chose to go with the pricier option. I know a lot of guys that will not see a girl with a free site ESPECIALLY if she is marketing herself as a high end companion.

You've already said you're going to get new pics. Fantastic. If you take a look at my site, all my pictures are professional and well done by a fashion photographer. You do NOT need to see any of these escort photographers. 1.) They charge too much. 2.) you will look like every other escort out there. You're better off going with someone that doesn't usually shoot escorts and take him/her out of their comfort zone. That's what I did and my pics came out great. If you notice, every other escort poses the same way. There is one pose that I call the escort pose, I bet you I can find six girls here on eccie that posed that way for their pics lol.

When in doubt, ask Nina (ninasastri.net) who did her pics. She referred me to him but he was a bit too far for me.

Can I advise you not to take too many lingerie shots? A little black dress, Jeans and tshirt, boyshorts and topless (cover the tatas) , then the agent provocateur shots mixed in will make for a damn good portfolio...

I agree with the free site issue - I just wanted something up quickly to give me some sort of identity on the web whilst I explore and find out what I want I want to create.

I'm talking right now with a client about staying at a sensational Miami hotel soon. If I take a suite there I'll use it for a photo shoot. Love your advice about photography, although I have to say that the photographer suggested to me elsewhere on this site looks great too, doesn't take cheesy escort photos - www.pinmeupphotography.com.

Oh and I love that link. Great photography but like I said the boudoir thing is so escortish already. I like the high fashion/flirty shots more. The bedroom pics are popular but I wouldn't use them on my site since every escort has pictures of her being confined to her bedroom. LOL
