Fake escort personas, blogs, websites

I won't mention "her" name but recently an escort and grad student with a very graphic blog site and Twitter account with a HUGE following was outed as not being who she claimed to be. (Duh! She Tweeted while having sex doggie style. Anyone stupid enough to believe someone Tweets during sex with a client deserves to be deceived by "her" updates.) Whether she is a "she", a "he" or a "they" the persona was simply made up.

In "her" case, I feel she created the persona to get information from escorts to use for a future project to make money for "her"self. (She had an interview site that escorts participated in.) Very creative and entrepreneurial, although in my mind it crosses boundaries of unwritten rules of conduct in this little world of ours. However, the heartless have no concept of that so they'll do whatever they wish with no remorse. Fine, I get it...

Yet now that I am back on Twitter, I have been introduced to a number of escorts who I feel are fake. Come on, how many 19-year-old Ivy League models demanding 4000$ minimum are really out there? As a successful, upscale gent, are you really comfortable taking that 19-yr-old to Guy Savoy when you risk being seen by a colleague?

Now, I know there exist the UTR and very low volume ladies who really are students, models etc...but the difference is they aren't blogging about their experiences with patrons every week or Tweeting about their morning coffee and client every few days. These fakers are blogging about meeting celebrities (of course, never sharing the name) and being whisked off to Paris on a moment's notice...hey, what about that Econ 101 class? How can you miss so much school on that scholarship, young lady?

While I fear this has turned into more of a rant than anything, I do wonder...

For the men: do you have the type of radar that many of us providers have, in being able to tell when an escort's website is basically a fake? Do you read blogs and roll your eyes knowing the stories are fabricated? When you read an entry about how to face f&ck the "right" way, does this not raise a red flag for you? Do you even care?

For the ladies: how do you feel about impostors stealing our ideas, images and personas? Do you feel you are being robbed after spending thousands of dollars on marketing yourself accurately only to have someone come along and steal your image for free? How about those of us who DID escort to help us through school--does it anger you that the real person behind the 19-yr-old college student may be a middle-aged man with nothing better to do, while we juggled a full course load along with maintaining websites, keeping up with emails etc...?

I think it sets high expectations for the new ladies that do join our club, almost impossible.....It could also be recruiters...........Either way it's not fair...

Even as a relatively old guy, I'm pretty naive when it comes to escorts. I generally take their tales at face value. It doesn't matter a lot to me whether or not they're fibbing or telling a huge lie. If they are being honest with me, we can have a good, honest time. If they're lying, I'll have a good time and she won't.

I flat-out don't have time to follow blogs & websites. I follow ECCIE, and that's it. So I don't really care what "persona" an escort reveals to the world. If her "persona" and reality don't match, that's her problem.

Likewise with Charlestudor, I go only with escorts that have been vetted. There is so much fake stuff on the Internet you can waste a lot of time (not to mention money) chasing imaginary tail.

These girls are tweeting because they're wanna-be escorts. Problem is they can't afford the set-up (photos/website/advertising/etc) so they're using sites like twitter to try and make other girls who actually have these things jealous.

I'm going to go out on a limb and say some of the ladies on here (eccie) are full of $hit, too, as it relates to experiences, etc. & yes LM, I do think most of the guys that have been around this world a little while have pretty good "BS Detectors"

Lily, I agree some Tweet because it is easier/less expensive but on the other hand that is what they know. Social media is how that generation communicates both in real life and in their UTR/escort persona.
