I just rented....
The Expendables
I loved it!!
the action scenes were awesome
Grown Ups
It was pretty funny even the plot wasn't that good
Knight and Day
I really liked it and the action scenes were great and really sets a good genre for Tom Cruise
The Karate Kid
has almost exactly the same plot and dialogue as the original but it was really good

I agree with you assessments although i think Stalone did a better job with the latest Rambo movie then he did with expendables. The body count of bodies exploding into little pieces in rambo seemed more amped up.
I’m hoping the opening scene of the next karate kid movie (not The Next Karate Kid with Hillary Swank) opens similar to the original sequel but with a great fight between Chan and the instructor of the bad Dojo as apposed of Miagie San taking the high road and squeezing the guys nose.
I'm getting excited now... I guess I will have to watch some old Jackie Chan movies I have lying around like the Legend of the Drunken Master to tide me over.

today, I rented
The A-Team
and as I heard it is nothing like the tv show. I would say its like a retelling but with the same plot. The action was really good and I wouldn't mind a sequel and I was able to pinpoint the real Face and Murdock in the movie

next up on my critique list are
Salt
I like the chase scenarios and this one was very good and it leaves the ending open for a sequel
The Other Guys
pretty good but I honestly thought it would be a little funnier knowing Will Ferrell

"The Expendables" was fun. It was great to see all the action starts I grew up watching on the screen again. I also really enjoyed "The A-Team", but I hated the way they kept replaying scenes to show you the connections....damn my memory isn't that bad....still overall I loved it.

My only complaint with the A-Team was that I never heard the sacred words...
I PITY THE FOOL!
Other than that, I really enjoyed it.
Expendables? CHIT! Er, I mean, I thought it was pretty crappy. Good action scenes, but they could have written a few more lines for Sly that didn't end in a preposition.
True Grit! Now THAT was AWESOME!
I know ... grown up movies and shit, but if it makes you feel any better, I watched these movies under the influence of LIPITOR!
And in recent days, I have watched "Black Dynamite" and "Undercover Brother." AND DON'T CALL ME SHIRLEY!

True Grit was good but enjoyed The Tourist much more. Always enjoy a movie with Johnny Depp.
