let's forget Elon
All the tech titans are weirdos. Not one of them is a genius. They got where they are because of luck. They happened to be in the right place at the right time. He shouldn't have trumpeted purchasing Twitter for the common good, and then not gone through with the deal. Everyone knows half the accounts are fake. That's just an excuse. He just changed his mind. Sorta like Gordon Gekko when he said about Bluestar Airlines, "I took another look at it and I changed my mind."
He's a flake. He's a weirdo. Everybody stop calling him a hero cause that he patently is not. Give him a security blanket and let him suck on his thumb.

One can like two people at the same time...even if those two people don't like each other. I respect both for creating jobs for thousands of people. If they were "common folk" and didn't have their foibles/eccentricities, they'd be working a job like the majority of people. Musk is right...even Trump is now probably a little long in the tooth for a second term as POTUS...but, sadly, the options for the GOP to win against a Democrat with the DNC tactics are very few, and Trump is still one of the strongest. If Musk wants to throw his hat into the ring for POTUS, I'd consider him...but even he must know the GOP, on a national level, isn't the same party it was back in Reagan's day, where it could mass convert Democrat votes into GOP ones. The Religious Right took care of that. The MAGA movement was the exception to that pattern, and unless Trump anoints someone as his "successor", it's Trump or bust.

If you haven’t realized by now, Trump just knows how to play the media and the media can’t let him go.
Heck, if it wasn’t for Trump 90% of the media wouldn’t have and fake news to talk about.

At last we agree on something. We need new, younger blood in the WH in 2024.

It's fine not to like Elon, but to not give him credit for probably being one of the smartest people alive is crazy. I'm an engineer and it fascinates me how he can have a deep-level impromptu conversation about various topics like rocket science, computer programing/machine learning, neurology, applied physics, electrical engineering, and the list goes on. The radical left is just butt-hurt that he, like many once prominent liberals, has taken the red pill and walked away from a party of hate and division. Just like Bill Maher, Dave Chappel, Rogan, Kanye, etc.

Without Twitter, maybe Musk would join ECCIE. He could go by "Austin Elon."
HAHAHAHA!

Yeah but all his opinions on these topics are wrong. He's anything but a genius. He's like Jobs in that he exploits the good ideas of his employees without ever giving them credit. Then he goes to the government for his funding because he can't get it anywhere else. Read the shit about his real personality from his divorce records.
LOL do you know how much money his shareholders' have lost because of his faith in Bitcoin?

He's good at generating sizzle.
Regardless what "everyone" knows about fake twitter accounts, it is within his rights to ask the horses mouth how many actual accounts he's paying for. Twitter balked.

All of his opinions on these topics are wrong? Really?
And you are an expert in which of these topics, exactly?
He paid back his govt loan for Tesla - 9 years early.
Now Tesla is worth more than GM and Ford, combined. And is also the most profitable car company.
As for his position on BTC, he invested $1.5 billion in it, and other investors piled on because of that. He also accepted BTC as payment, but now due to the market, he sold off 75% of his holdings.
Tesla and Amazon stocks look about the same year to date... so are you sure this is about Elon, or the market in general?

Actually, his opinions on most subjects he opens his trap about are wrong. That he has a reality distortion field stronger than Jobs' and can drive some shitcoin to the moon by peddling it to his fanboy army says something about his luck, not intelligence.
