FBI: MORE PEOPLE KILLED WITH HAMMERS & CLUBS EACH YEAR THAN RIFLES
When will the madness end? Stop the carnage! We need hammer control and we need it now!
FBI: More People Killed with Hammers, Clubs Each Year Than Rifles
Justice January 03, 2013
AP File
By AWR HAWKINS, Breitbart.com
According to the FBI annual crime statistics, the number of murders committed annually with hammers and clubs far outnumbers the number of murders committed with a rifle.
This is an interesting fact, particularly amid the Democrats' feverish push to ban many different rifles, ostensibly to keep us safe of course.
However, it appears the zeal of Sens. like Dianne Feinstein (D-CA) and Joe Manchin (D-WV) is misdirected. For in looking at the FBI numbers from 2005 to 2011, the number of murders by hammers and clubs consistently exceeds the number of murders committed with a rifle.
Think about it: In 2005, the number of murders committed with a rifle was 445, while the number of murders committed with hammers and clubs was 605. In 2006, the number of murders committed with a rifle was 438, while the number of murders committed with hammers and clubs was 618.
And so the list goes, with the actual numbers changing somewhat from year to year, yet the fact that more people are killed with blunt objects each year remains constant.
For example, in 2011, there was 323 murders committed with a rifle but 496 murders committed with hammers and clubs.
While the FBI makes is clear that some of the "murder by rifle" numbers could be adjusted up slightly, when you take into account murders with non-categorized types of guns, it does not change the fact that their annual reports consistently show more lives are taken each year with these blunt objects than are taken with Feinstein's dreaded rifle.
Another interesting fact: According to the FBI, nearly twice as many people are killed by hands and fists each year than are killed by murderers who use rifles.

More people are killed by cigarettes than guns. Let's outlaw lungs! Fire too! Breathing? Only mouth breathing?
This continues to be the stupidest fucking debate ever.
How many people die each year as a result of wild animal attacks? I'll bet it's more than are killed by high powered sniper rifles where the shooter is on the roof of a church on Tuesday evenings.
Let's outlaw JoeBloe and other bulletsuckers. This bullshit is killing me!

Whether or not people are killed more often by hammers or clubs than by clubs is a complete non-sequitor. The fact is that a gun is much more dangerous weapon, and there are legitimate reasons to ban or at least make it difficult for people to get certain types of weapons. And by the way, I'm not against gun ownership, whether you want to keep yourself and your loved ones safe, or whether you like to go hunting or just for target practice. All I want is responsible gun ownership. Just like driving is a privilege, gun ownership should be as well.

Notice the eager dumb shits at Breitbart skewed the article by leaving out all handguns. It wouldn't have even been close had the dishonest political fuck-offs at Breitbart not been so intent on subterfuge!

Well Stevie the gun grabbers have opened their gambit by trying to ban assualt weapons. So are good numbers.
Also gun ownership is a "right" and not a privilege like driving.
