That tends to be a tradition here in San Antonio. I've had so many traveling ladies tell me that they will never come to san antonio for that reason.

Austin is also starting to get known for flakes. It happens everywhere. Visitors usually are priced higher than the locals so a last minute decision usually turns out bad for the visitors.
