Doesn't matter does it...when the article says they were trying to purchase the explosives with their girlfriend's welfare card...

Oh wait...did you assume that the OP was making a Black racial comment because he mentioned welfare? No, guess not, my bad...

Well .... i was trying to decide if the author was afraid to say it .....

..... or her editor struck it out.

I do like the author, though.

Wefare system is another government program not being managed properly. 109 million on welfare 35 % of the population as if 2012.

11 states have more persons on welfare than employed. Provded the sources an info is correct.

You actually read the Politifact article you linked, right?

Per the article, they actually say that the claim that 11 States have more persons on welfare than employed is false (they give it their "Pants on Fire!" ruling)...

Just more chain email crap to try and scare people.

Is there a rational basis for this outburst or is it merely a manifestation of Syndrome Gilles de la Tourette?

(The only sleazy modern day Mormon I know of is Harry Reid. There may be a handful of others, but I know not who they might be.)

Is everyone aware that the two biggest food stamp groups are Wal-Mart employees and US armed forces families. States even have a formula they use to determine how much each Wal-Mart will cost them in terms of public assistance

Assuming this assertion is accurate, it's a really good example of an "aggregation problem". That is, how valid is a comparison between employed persons aggregated under a massive employer(s) vs hordes of "independent agents", aka government-dependent shitbirds who never worked a day in their lives? Under what politically correct appellation would they fall for the purpose of comparison with active duty military personnel and dependents?

By the way, will you corroborate the assertion? You may be right, I don't know...but the fact remains, even if you are, that it would still be only a curious factoid, given the inherent aggregation problem.

......
That would not surprise me.

Why would a "for profit" company overpay employees?

Pay should be market driven and clearly the employees will work for less than they need when they are subsidized by the government.

So pull the plug on the handout, and everyone of those fucks will go in and demand a raise or quit to a better paying job.

After a mass exodus, pay would be increased to be in better alignment with the work performed.

Every US citizen accepts welfare.

Like nobody claims their kids on taxes, Earned income, deduct themselves, itemize and deduct the home, And on and on and on. The Wealthy are especially good at getting welfare. See 2008 banking bailouts and subsequent 3-4 trillion spent by the Fed all subsidizing the wealthy.
