How utterly predictable.
Whenever Trump wants the American public to look the other way, it’s usually because he wants to divert attention from something else that makes him look like the despot loving dictator wannabe he is.
At least he got a “beautiful letter.”

Trump: Forget North Korean Missile Threats, Have You Seen Kim Jong Un’s Penmanship?
North Korea conducted a fifth missile launch test Saturday, hours after President Trump fawned over another “very beautiful letter” from its chief dictator.
Never mind North Korean missile launches, President Trump essentially told reporters Friday on the White House Lawn, instead touting another letter from Kim Jong Un with vague promises of continued denuclearization talks. Hours later, Kim conducted yet a fifth test of weapons capable of reaching South Korea, Japan and U.S. bases across Asia.
During a Friday gaggle with reporters, Trump first claimed he “got a very beautiful letter from Kim Jong Un yesterday,” three pages in length “right from top to bottom.” He naturally declined to share meaningful details of best pal Kim Jong Un’s missive, but tweeted Saturday that the dictator offered a “small apology for testing the short range missiles.”
“In a letter to me sent by Kim Jong Un, he stated, very nicely, that he would like to meet and start negotiations as soon as the joint U.S./South Korea joint exercise are over,” Trump wrote. “It was a long letter, much of it complaining about the ridiculous and expensive exercises. It was also a small apology for testing the short range missiles, and that this testing would stop when the exercises end.” It was unclear if Trump himself was calling U.S. and South Korea joint exercises “ridiculous and expensive,” or paraphrasing Kim’s words in the letter, though Trump has previously complained about the cost of military collaborations with South Korea.
