I work for a construction firm who is in a joint venture with several other construction companies doing the road work on FM 720 in Little Elm. Just wanted the pilgrims in that neck of the woods to know that the old bridge crossing the lake headed north towards Aubrey, that bridge could collapse at any given moment. Hundreds of vehicles cross that bridge every day including 18 wheel heavy trucks loaded beyond the max. weigh limits for the bridge. DOT shut the company I work for down Wed the 20th and told us under no circumstance do we cross that bridge with a loaded truck. I ask where's the load zone signs ? There's not one on either side of the bridge. DOT didn't have a comment on that question. The truth is the bridge is a hazard, if you cross it have your life jacket in the backseat, you might need it! The local school buses are prohibited from crossing that bridge...
