A federal grand jury in New York issued subpoenas for board members of the special purpose acquisition company that plans to take former President Donald Trump’s social media site "Truth Social" public.


This is in addition to the SEC probe of Digital World Acquisition Corp.


"The investigation came after multiple outlets reported Trump had met with DWAC Chief Executive Patrick Orlando before the company went public," Forbes reported. "The meeting could have broken SEC rules that prohibit SPACs from identifying a target company before raising money."

As I read it:
  1. Already decided some deal is crooked
  2. No link to a relevant doc for detail
  3. SPACs are typically used to take a company public (IPO) and raise $$ for the company
  4. Subpoenas issued (fishing expedition) to a Board member
  5. Not Trump
  6. for talking to Trump ahead of purchasing Trump's company
So how would a SPAC take a company public without talking to the company owner?


Oh wait! Maybe this is yet another one of those you're guilty. Now prove you're innocent thraads.
