Default do you follow your gut feeling?

Call me weird or old fashioned but I really pay attention to my gut instinct in the hobby and my life. I don't think it's some weird psychic thing or anything like that I just think it's one of those deep survival instinct things like fight or flight.
I turn down dates if something doesn't feel right or I get the willies vibe from someone.
I'm sitting here in the airport and out of no where got this adrenaline rush and the hairs on my arms and the back of my neck stood on end. Growing up my grandma said"who just walked over your grave?" When that happened. I have flown more than most people ever fly in their lives so I'm not really afraid of it. I'm sitting here trying to figure it out. Am I projecting the uneasiness of my flight here (extremely bumpy with that free fall drop feeling a lot), the odd mustard scented guy that just sat next to me after staring at me for a while, or am I just overly exhausted and my body is on the Fritz?
If us 3 have a smooth flight home I'm sleeping the whole way if this serious case of the creeps subsides. My heart is pounding in my throat, ugh.

I sometimes get a bubbly feelin in my gut. Never read much into it. It usually happens after I have a date with Grandma Brown's.

Smile thank you so much, I'm home safe =)

I got some of the nicest and sweetest messages ever, thank you.
It was a really weird situation that mustard guy kept rubbing his arm on mine and watching my phone screen. Us girls went to the bathroom (of course just to gossip), when we got back he was gone...didn't even fly on our flight. How strange.
I think it boiled down to not enough sleep (2-4 hours a night) in the past week mixed with hours of driving, flying, jet lag, and a weird situation to set my alarm system off.
Of course the entire flight then 2 hour drive home I was like "I'm going to die I'm going to die I'm going to die!" After some of the incredible stories some of you have shared with me about your gut feelings.
Thank god the only death related thing that happened was me sleeping like the dead, I just got out of bed.
Have an awesome week everyone!

Gut 100% of the time. There is more out than science can conveniently explain.

In combination with actual screening yes I do use my gut feeling ...... I will turn down an appt if something about the person still doesn't feel right.
