not sure why this part of life would be different from others. don't wear the same clothes, every day. don't eat the same thing, every day. may want to see a movie or read a book more than once ... but then we move on.

i don't like analogies because folks wind up discussing the analogy and not the point being discussed. but i remember the scene from "Cheers" when they are holding Sam's bachelor party and Diane is hiding insider the cake. someone asks Sam if he is ready to have the same thing for lunch every day ... and .. he can't get past that idea. ... the same, the same, the same ... no matter how good.

I would like to say it's the thrill for some...
You never know whats going to happen...
