So I am setup with a provider this afternoon and I've never bought a gift card before.

She has five reviews on erotic monkey and I've seen her go from zero reviews to 5.

She said new people will need to buy a gift card.....

She didn't ask for any verification (which has me a little concerned......)

Anyhow - I've heard girls will possibly ask for the card verification prior to giving the apt number so it can be a scam.

I'm not on Erotic Monkey Platinum so I can't read the reviews.

Bad idea. 99% chance that she or who ever is texting will ask for the card info before giving you the apartment number. If you do give the info you'll never hear from her again.

if so, what were the results?

even if those searches came back okay, NEVER EVER EVER SEND A DEPOSIT to some provider you've never visited (there are a few exceptions to that guideline).

Anyone who specifically asks for a gift card is a scam. There are no exceptions.
