Infinitely more dangerous to drive to/from Houston than anything Ebola related in Dallas . . .

There are many more things which you are likelier to catch and would kill you in the hobby.
I shook my head when I saw a lady basically add this to her screening process when she is known the participate in the hobby with unsafe habits.

I know there are some of you freaks in the hobby world (not judging LOL)..... unless someone is symptomatic and you have direct contact with their feces, vomit, sputum or blood the likelihood of becoming infected is highly improbable. Considering 40- 50,000 Americans die annually from the flu you're more likely to catch this season's flu strain DFKing . You're more likely to contract chlamydia or gonorrhea from BBBJ than any ebola risk.

Why is this in the alerts section? Did you see a Provider with Ebola or she said she saw the Liberian with Ebola and letting us know that everyone she has seen is now at risk?
If not, this belongs in COED.

What? Do we have providers now asking screening questions on behalf of the CDC?

I'm going to change my menu for a little while and insisting on a few things during this years flu season anyway but the Ebola in Dallas story was what brought my awareness up a bit. Between that and the weird respiratory illness hitting kids in the midwest, I'm being extra vigilant this season.
It sounds kind of crazy, I know, but nature has a way of dealing with crowding and overpopulation. Maybe this is it??? Seems the severity of infections are gradually increasing. I'm not sure how many of you are Darwinists, but I personally believe that those who adapt accordingly to threats are the ones who will survive. Those who don't, won't.

Enterovirus. Tx is one of the affected states. There are several cases of this in dallas and suburbs. Seems to affect mainly children. To me, Enterovirus is a bigger threat and lot more imminent for us in the U.S

The strain that is causing paralysis, specifically but more generally, just all of the more severe illnesses that seem to keep popping up. We are a highly unprotected community when it comes to sharing body fluids and I'm not taking about BBFS. I mean overall: kissing, BBBJ, DATY, etc. Seems the risk of basic fluid sharing is increasing quickly. I'm finally getting my nursing licence transferred to Texas. Probably time for me to leave soon bc I cannot stomach the risks if it keeps going like this.
