I'd give anything to have a half-dozen of my old favorites back. You know, the ones they bulldozed so they could put in all these foodie fare places.
We're in the middle of god-damned Texas and you can't get a decent, proper, hand-breaded chicken-fried steak within 50 miles.

sigh... chicken fried steak....drool. I always liked the CFS at the 290 cafe in Manor before I went Gluten free 2 years ago. and if anyone cares, you can get Gluten free CFS at the Wildwood Bakehouse a gluten free restaurant near Campus

Unless they've changed their recipe recently, no thanks. Haven't tried Bombshells yet, but none of the chains offer a good one. They all have to mess it up somehow.
