Obama: Health care law 'is here to stay'

Obama is making speeches saying that the healthcare law that HE passed is here to stay and that repealing it is not an option. Well, Mr Obama, it is an option; once the Republicans take back the Senate and defeat you, Obamacare is going to be history. It aint over till the fat lady sings.

I think individual states need to just tell the Feds they aren't going to implement it. Let's have a good old Constitutional standoff between Obama and the 37 states that oppose Obamacare.

Obama has set the precedent that it's ok to ignore the laws you don't like. If Obama can refuse to enforce DOMA and deportation laws, surely it will be ok for the states to ignore Obamacare. Besides, Obamacare is not going to be the law for much longer.

the healthcare law provides $$$ to states that states wouldnt otherwise get ... bottom line, taxpayers in said states foot the bills for all the state and county hospitals that provide free services thus increasing state deficits when state budgets are already bloated ... that increases taxes on state residents ... the healthcare law via insurance reduces free medical services for as many as 33 million people ... why would any state want to increase their budget and further burden their taxpayers?

yes, lets have a good ole standoff between taxpayers that vote for governors, and governors that refuse federal $$ placing the state budget burden on taxpayers

just say no whirlie, but as a taxpayer in your state dont bitch about the $$ it costs you in the longrun

Can't argue with the people that oppose the Healthcare Act. They only show their total disdain for their fellow human beings and are so selfish to the core they have no soul. Sad they can't see they are only a loss of a job, a detection of a major illness (like cancer) to losing what healthcare they do have...and eventually land themselves in bankruptcy. It's so sad to see how poor a moral charcter they do have. It's no wonder this country is in decline.
