I've only worked with 4 providers in the 8 years I've been a provider....and after working with a Pittsburgh-based provider earlier this year....I an VERY hesitant to work with another provider again. The woman had issues with men and would accuse me of trying to sabotage her business and stealing money from her (which was NOT true). One time, she had wanted to view some pictures on her flash drive and she didn't have a computer (she used her phone to post her BP and Eros ads).

With my laptop, if a flash drive is in a certain USB port, the photos won't come up. When I told her her photos didn't come up, she went into a f*cking tirade, accusing me of deleting her photos behind her back and that I couldn't be trusted. Eventually the photos came up...but I cut my ties with her soon after that incident. She continues to call me, text me and DM me on Twitter, asking me to work with her again. I refused. After that I would rather work alone.

I had one provider set me up to get arrested in Durham, NC in May 2008. I found out a day later that she set me up because I was prettier and making more money than her. Another provider I worked with had a pimp and I was forced to move out of the apartment we shared after I refused to give my money to her pimp (who was paying her rent, and was giving my rent money to her pimp...which I didn't know she was doing until the day I moved out).

I worked with one in Durham, NC for a few months from April 2009 to July 2009 and she was insanely jealous because I was getting more business than she was. She had a huge stomach and was advertising herself as a small BBW and her clients would come to me complaining about how she was misrepresenting herself. She eventually stopped talking to me because she was trying to break up my former friend's relationship and I told them what was going on. She started calling my hotel room and threatening to call the cops on me. I left town that day and haven't been to North Carolina in 5 years.

Jealousy is no joke. People have gone to jail because of it. If I ever work with another provider again, I hope that she doesn't rely solely on BP for business. I post on BP...but I also advertise on other websites. My former friend (who works in the Raleigh/Durham area) is always pawning off her laptop because she didn't make enough money to cover her hotel room. When that happens, something is seriously wrong with the way she's conducting and managing her business...and I can't work with providers who don't have their act together. In her case, this has been going on for 5 years...come on, that don't make sense to me.

I have no reason to lie. It may sound a bit out there, but I wouldn't say it if there was no truth to it. I was nothing but nice to these women...and I got screwed over.

I know I don't have any reviews here...and I can't force a hobbyist to review me.

I'm sorry that's happened to you. I recently had a nut job I was working with a few times. She was gross. She would shit on herself and try to play it off. She got jealous of a date I had that she stole my expensive new heels, and I tried to help her that day by posting a ad for her and she stole another never paid me back or returned my stuff. She had told a client she was leaving me and going home when she knew I was already on the fence with that client. What makes it worse is she has lots of good reviews on aNotheR site.

That is why I work for myself, and by myself. My home is private as is my business life. I will help out any ladies with references, and I have even went as far as loaning out my home to a select few, but as far as doing doubles, and working on the daily with 1 on 1 someone, that will never happen...

I have learned to trust no one but myself...I have learned some very hard lessons in my life, and this is 1 of them!!

Same here. I have one doubles girl who i have done doubles with for 2 years... and has an excellent history of NO ncns and good skills. We get along great BCD and OTC. No jealousy or risk of jealousy because technically.. we have different clientele.. shes a spinner and im curvy and each of us bring something different one on one... together.. its awesome mixture! But from my own personal history of doubles.. if one girl gets more attention then shit hits the fan. Or if the gent in the middle decides to see one of the girls again... shit hits the fan. If you find out some "issues" (bad habits/addictions) with the other girl and decide its much safer to not do the doubles anymore... shit hits the fan. You find out she is pimped... shit hits the fan. Just not worth it.

Other than that.. im here to fuck. I have many friends in real life and dont need to rely on a hooker board to make a BFF or three. Its like my real life job... im there to work.. not be buddies. I think some lose focus on that.

So yea... ill keep my one doubles girl and ill focus on the job at task.. the men.

i should rephrase...i stick with my one doubles girl. BUT, i have done some one time doubles. Upon my own research on their history. I had great ones with girl we did triples with. And there are a couple traveling ladies that i enjoyed. I tend to prefer the short term traveling ladies..because again, there is no risk of jealousy or issues. Theres a couple of LR gals i wanna romp, theres one out of dallas.. and Dallas.. no way would i turn down a doubles romp with you! As far as local... ill stick with my poptart doubles girl...

every business has this sort of thing. if you are going to work with people I guess that's part of the game. I wouldn't feel bad about it, people screw each other in business all the time

I think your motto is painting the "whore community" with a fairly broad brush, DallasRain. I've met some GREAT friends who are escorts/working girls/whatever you want to call us. People who are loyal and wonderful and accepting and trustworthy. You just have to be selective and smart about who you let into your life.

XoticSynn, this is going to sound a little harsh, but I don't at all mean it that way. Often times people are attracted to people who are similar to them. You don't see a lot of prep-school types hanging out with wrong-side-of-the-tracks types, if you get what I'm saying. You need to identify what it is about you that is attracting terrible company and work on changing it. For you to have had that many run-ins with awful people, there is definitely something you put out there that tells them (and you?) that you are similar.

Get good at noticing what a person is really like early on. It is easy to see when you take a step back and look at people objectively. Are they able to keep long term friends and family around? Are their friends good people that you would want to hang out with? Do they speak highly of the people in their lives? Are they suspicious of everyone about everything? (People that can't be trusted are often the least trusting.)

Good friends and business partners can be made anywhere. Even here. Just try to be wise and objective.

Extremely insightful, Caroline. I'm always suspect when anyone attracts a lot of drama. Of course there are people who are simply introverted, independent loner types. That's cool, too. But those people don't have a general mistrust of an entire group of people.

There are good people everywhere, in every industry.

However, I take Dallas' Whore tree reference a bit differently. I simply take it to mean, don't expect these girls to be your friends and sisters simply because they're hookers, too. Rather, use your judgment just like you would choosing any other friend.

Interesting topic. I have to say, it makes me a bit sad that providers can't get along with each other a little better.

I like your take on her motto much better than mine. I'm adjusting my view and adopting it. It is much more positive, and probably more accurate to what she meant.
